Just cannot say enough about the food here, they have great food at reasonable prices. Try the corn salad. It is a tad spicy, but exceptionally tasty.

“Response to "Very Disappointed"”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 17, 2014

I'm sorry this patron had a disappointing experience - but please let me offer a few tips that may help the situation next time - Bad stuff happens even at the most upscale establishments. Do not be afraid to speak up and voice your concern or displeasure with your food or service. Most reputable establishments want to make a good impression on each guest that comes through the door. However, there are times when it just doesn't happen for one reason or another. When there is cause for customer concern - and yet the customer does not allow the establishment the opportunity to correct the issue (because they aren't aware of an issue or the customer doesn't want to "push back") everyone loses out on an opportunity to improve or correct a bad situation. So please, next time speak up - be respectful and direct. Voice your concern to the manager and allow them to respond to your concern. You will most likely be pleasantly surprised by the outcome and will not go away with a bad impression and vow never to return.

“very disappointed”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 16, 2014

I have heard so many good things about this restaurant and also all the good reviews on TripAdvisor but I or we ordered the spinach and artichoke dip as an appetizer and when it arrives 15 minutes later it was cold. Also I ordered the blackened catfish and shrimp it said on the menu it was $13.99 when I got it it was too very tiny tiny pieces of catfish total of 4 bytes in four small shrimp only berrybland of grits. When we went to pay our check the head charge me $17.99 for my meal of that was supposed to be $13.99 the lady asked if I would like to speak to a manager at that point I was so disappointed I just said no and will not be returning to this location

“Soup, sandwiches, and much more”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 13, 2014

My husband and I ate here several years back and it was pretty much a soup and sandwich place...but no more. They offer "plate" choices and there is plenty to eat on those plates. The two people I was with ended up taking home a take-out box because they couldn't finish it all. There was enough left for lunch the next day. I had something lighter...a shaved country ham on toasted honey wheat bread and fries. No complaints on anything any of us had to eat. It was a cold afternoon and there was a fire place going which made it a nice place to have an early dinner.
