“Definitely will go back!”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

I read several reviews on how good this place was mainly for lunch. I've been to the Old Mill several times but never the Pottery House. The sweet tea was great. I had the grilled club sandwich with fries. It was great! My wife had the loaded potato soup and hers was also great. Will definitely go back in the future.

“A hidden gem”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

I say hidden because we always eat across the street at the big ol barn called the Old Mill. this quaint little restaurant has the best food. We always eat there when we visit for a few days. I've had a variety of their foods and desserts and never have I eaten anything that was bad. Served hot, or cold accordingly, with a smile and great service.

“This Cafe is a keeper!”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

Warm atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious, satisfying food - at a reasonable price. What a lovely place to eat! Their freshly-baked bread is wonderful. One person at our table ordered a cup of tomato basil soup but the server came back and let her know that they were out of this soup that evening. To our surprise, partway through our meal, the server brought a cup of the soup, freshly made, and at no cost. They had actually made a fresh batch of soup so that our friend could take it home with her to enjoy.

“A Taste Treat”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

Great restaurant for sandwiches and soups especially. Warm, roaring fire in winter. The place fills up quickly so go a bit early. They have quite a crowd of locals on Sunday. The Chicken Reuben sandwich with home made chips is a winner but all the entrees are good.

“Very enjoyable and tasty.”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

Someone recommended this restaurant to us and we are glad they did. It was a very nice establishment and smelled so good when you entered the cafe. We had a little wait but that gave us time to walk around the adjacent shops. My husband had a club sandwich with pasta salad and I decided on the steak sandwich and fries. Very good. Word of warning, the portions are BIG. I would recommend.
