From the moment we walked in this hotel we knew it was very clean and we were going to like where we had chosen to stay. Room had in room fireplace, jacuzzi, granite counters in bathrooms all for a very reasonable price. Staff was very nice and friendly, always asking if we needed anything. Perfect location, extremely clean/new rooms decorated with state of the art furniture and fixtures. Woke up the next morning with a wonderful hot breakfast with eggs, gravy biscuits, omelet bar, fresh waffles, cereal, fresh fruit and bagels. The pool was extremely nice as well. Definitely our favorite hotel by far in Pigeon Forge. Trust me you can't go wrong staying here at the Clarion!

The rooms are very clean and the staff was extremely helpful and nice. The only problem with the hotel was that on the webseite it says there is an outdoor pool and there is not. They do have a great indoor pool. The only outdoor pool right now is an extremely small lazy river too small to really relax in. New construction is underway for an outdoor slide but it also is going to be really small.

Thank you on the compliments of the rooms are very clean and the staff was extremely helpful and nice. Beginning around March or April, a 100 foot tall water slide will open that has a HEATED POOL TO SLIDE INTO. With as much room as we had to work with, we have outside water facilities in a combination that no other hotel has. This includes outdoor hot tub, firepit {real}, waterslide, kid's splash zone and lazy river. Thank you for the compliment on the great indoor pool. This also comes complete with another indoor hot tub. The indoor pool has indoor lounge chairs, football throw game with footballs, a basketball goal with basketballs. This in managements and many, many guests eyes gives more to everyone of all ages and makes for fun time for all. Many changes had to be made to comply with the BUILDING CODES OF PIGEON Forge,we made the most of a very, very tough situation as far square footage goes. We hope it is appreciated what we have done and look forward to adding to the already awesome amount of amenities already present at Clarion Inn-Pigeon Forge, TN. Hundreds of reviews have compliment all the "EXTRAS", THE CAPPICCINNO, THE COOKIES, THE KRISPY KREME DONUTS, THE WONDERFUL GRAND DELUXE BREAKFAST BUFFETT, LEMONADE, COFFEE, ELVIS TRIBUTE PERFORMANCE, THE COMPLIMENTARY CARRIAGE RIDES, plus the massage chairs, the I-Pads and fireplace in the Grand Lobby, the late pool hours, the towel service at the pools and the fitness rooms. With that said, thank you so very much for all your comments and insights. They are so appreciative and welcome as they make us a better, more effective, more efficient hotel dead set on exceeding the standards and raising the bar on the hotels in Pigeon Forge and the surround area. From all of us here at Clarion Inn-Pigeon Forge, TN come check in with us and check out the best Pigeon Forge has to offer.

The ladies at the front desk were terrific.the hotel is new so rooms are modern and comfortable.Room service is available through 4 or 5 nearby restuarants. The staff is excellent and we enjoyed the stay. The only drawback is : no outdoor pool, although they have an outdoor water slide, lazy river, and jacuzzi. The breakfast is ok ,the scrambled eggs ,i think are from powder not good, and the sausage is chewy low quality meat, however they have a choice of fruit, pastries and other items, i didn't like the styrofoam plates,it would have been nice to eat from actual ware.We would stay ,and plan on staying there again.

Thank you for your wonderful compliments on our staff at the front desk. We understand the importance of guest relations with the staff usually being the first and last people you may see in assisting you during your stay. We are pleased to announce that we have switched from using styrofoam plates and plastic untensils to real plates and silverware. We have found that, in addition to pleasing the guest, this is a much "greener" approach, with less waste. We have also improve the quality of eggs with a full time cook that will prepare fresh, made-to-order omelets, along with fresh waffles. We have also added pancakes, fresh fruit salad and sausage links to increase the variety of the breakfast. This helps with long-term guests to be able to change up what they have for breakfast and give them more choices to choose from. The breakfast has become so popular, we have added an additional hospitality room to help serve everyone more effectively and efficiently. Thank you for staying with us and staying again.

I did a lot of research before we booked our hotel for our first wedding anniversary. I would check Trip Advisor daily for reviews. Found Clarion Inn in Pigeon Forge and saw it had all excellent reviews (except for one) and thought we had a winner. Hubby and I booked the hotel through Choice Hotels and saved a lot of money. I kept checking this website and each day more and more excellent reviews came in. I was so excited to check it out myself. We were not disappointed!! Its still brand new, still has that great breakfast you see more of the reviews mention and still has excellent customer service.

THE ROOM: I use a wheelchair so once we checked out the first room we realized the configuration of the doors and layout of the bathroom of a regular room just wasnt going to work. We asked if they had another room available that we could switch to instead and they made it happen. We were given a double queen room that was easily twice as big, and the bathroom was probably 4 times bigger! It ended up working out perfectly! We were very thankful! The view from our balcony was not a mountain view but looking out onto the Parkway strip was nice enough. We werent there to sit on our balcony and look at the mountains, we were there to go to the mountains! The TV was great, but again, we werent there to stay inside watching TV. The room was equipped with a fridge, microwave and a spot for a safe, but ours was missing...we didnt have anything to put in it anyway. There was also a desk area where they had the hook ups for the Ethernet cable and they also offered free wi fi. It seemed to work rather slowly at times, which is a little frustrating. I have a feeling the hotel was build very well because we didn’t hear our neighbors at all. Its the quietest hotel room I have ever stayed in. As I mentioned our room faced the Parkway and we heard no traffic noise at all, no slamming doors from other guests, nothing. It was wonderful.

THE BED: The bed was very comfortable with a heavy soft comforter, the usual hotel blanket above the sheet and you get a choice of 4 pillows. We always bring out own so i cant really verify if those were nice or not. Its been mention in other reviews that the beds are high, and they are but they now have a two-step step stool in every room for your convenience. I defiantly put it to use.

THE BATHROOM: Our bathroom was huge!! In the regular room the toilet was in a “closet” on its own but in our larger room all the bathroom pieces were in the same LARGE room. The counter top was quite high for being an accessible room and I had to use the full length mirror in the entry to do my hair and make up. There were plenty of towels and a shower seat for those who need/want to use it. The only complaint I have about the bathroom was the water pressure in the shower. I like to be able to feel the water and not just a misting and unfortunately there wasn’t much water pressure. Thankfully the shower had one of those handheld sprayers so I was able to get the soap/shampoo/conditioner and such off of me in a more timely fashion using that.

MISC: They have a great indoor/outdoor pool area that stays open until 2am! The outdoor pool area is still under construction (remember it’s a new hotel, people!!!) but most of it is still accessible to those who want to swim outside, use the hot tub outside or enjoy the small lazy river. Inside was a larger pool with water basketball and another hot tub. They had towels provided so you didnt have to worry about remembering to bring one from your room. They were kind of small and not very absorbent though, so be sure to grab 2. The lobby was nicely lit and had a lot of chairs as well as a tv and fireplace. There was also coffee available throughout the day over by the elevators. The breakfast area was closed off each time I was down there so I cant verify its size. My husband went down in the morning and brought ours back up to our room, the provide trays for easier carrying. We noticed the work out room but did not use it, as well as the business center. The “game room” was sort of odd. It was more of a massage chair room if you ask me. You get a 20 minute massage at a time and its nice. When you check in they will let you know to check with them before you go eat, because they will most likely have a discount coupon for you. However, they did not have one for the Old Mill the night we went. They highly recommended Calhoun’s which is right out in front of the hotel. We never got the chance to check them out; we already had set places to try for each meal our entire stay. The menu looked good though!
All in all, I would highly recommend and defiantly return to Clarion Inn in Pigeon Forge, TN!

Thank you for the excellent review and we took your comments to heart. We now provide a five-setting adjustable showerhead to provide a satisfying shower experience for the many different types of guests we have. We recognized the importance in this and responded. In addition, to the orginal pools we have since added larger and more absorbent towels versus using the ones from the rooms. We would like to remind our guests, in past experiences we have provided these and they tend to disappear thus increasing operating costs which ultimately ends up affecting the guest's rates and owner overhead. We always try to please the guest and this review they always come first.

We stayed at this hotel just last weekend. It was my husband, 2 year old daughter and myself. It was very clean and obviously new. Our balcony did not have a good view but it was nice just to sit on it for morning coffee. We loved the hot breakfast included with the price of the hotel. We was a bit disappointed that they were just makeing the water slide, but they have an indoor pool, outdoor pool, hot tub and lazy river. Unfortunately, we didn't get to utilize them, since our trip was short. The only semi-negative thing was that the hotel did not have "personality". It was very run of the mill. But considering, we're basically just sleeping there. I thought it was great.

We've already recommended this Clarion to friends. It's beautiful! Everyone is so nice and accomodating. Indoor and outdoor pool, jacuzzi, fire pit = fun, fun, fun. There are computers for use, massage chairs, and for breakfast - omelets made on request. We enjoyed the lobby with the huge fireplace and flat screen. The best thing of all were the beds. SOOO comfortable, four pillows to choose soft of firm. We were exhausted and left feeling very relaxed. It's an experience, not just a hotel. We'll be back soon.
