My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights during a convention in Pigeon Forge. We had a wonderful experience with Clarion Inn Sevierville before and this one didn't disappoint either! The staff was exceptional, the location was great, and the breakfast was right on point! I don't have a bad thing to say about this place...Try It!

Room Tip: The back side of the hotel faces a parking lot and trees. No good views and trees can be in the way...

We stayed two nights this past week-end. We have stayed at many places in Pigeon Forge over the past few years but somehow had missed this one. Our room had a king size bed. Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast much better than most places offer. Staff was helpful and polite. Good location. We'll stay here again!

Very centrally located in Pigeon Forge and a 5-10 minute drive to Gatlinburg. Overall, it was about 5-10 minutes (and sometimes closer) to every attraction we wanted to see. Really nice, clean rooms, comfortable beds and awesome room darkening curtains. Had a very nice time, everyone was very friendly.

We spent 2 nights at the Clarion. Our room had a king size bed - very comfortable. The bathroom had a separate water closet for the toilet. I've never seen that in a hotel before. The door was a little in the way when open, but it was nice to have the toilet in a separate space. The breakfast offered almost anything you could want - scrambled eggs, bacon, make your own Belgian waffles, biscuits, bagels, fruit, sweet baked goods and made to order omelets - all free with your stay! A great deal! On our first night, the hotel was not very crowded so we enjoyed the peace and quiet. On the second night, our floor (the fifth) was almost full with a bus tour and still quiet...we slept like logs! Maybe we were just super tired! The staff was very helpful and friendly. This was our second stay here and we would stay again.

Room Tip: We like higher floors for a better view from the little balconies.

We stayed here for two weekday nights in April; the hotel was not nearly full. Those staying during the heavy tourist season may have a different experience.

We had a fifth floor King room. It wasn't exceedingly large, but was fine for our needs. Both nights were quiet; the only noise we heard came from the balcony outside. Everything was clean - linens and towels were all good. Bed was comfortable.

The bathroom was a nice size, but the door to the separated toilet room always was getting in the way. I think if they would have made the room slightly bigger and swung the door in, or put in a pocket door it would have been better. But no worries - just an observation. The bathroom did have a fan.

The balcony was nice, but the view was not that of nature - but rather tourist Pigeon Forge...so it was just a balcony...nothing special.

We had the pool area to ourselves. The inside pool area and water were both warm. There was an indoor and outdoor hot tub. Another party had turned on the fire pit which I did sit by for a while. It was still a bit too cold for the slide and river. I wonder how crowded this area would get during busy season. We did wish that there was a clock and shower in the pool area.

There was no massage chair as previously reported on Trip Advisor; when asked, staff said it had been broken and removed a while ago.

The breakfast was above Choice Hotels standards - liked the grits and Krispy Creme donuts. My husband liked the custom waffles. At night, a 7-8 pm "meet and greet" had cookies, popcorn, and some drink options. A fruit drink/water/coffee were always available in the lobby.

All staff were friendly and helpful.

Finally - when we were there, Tuesday night was 1/2 off pizza night at the Smokey Mountain Brewery within close walking distance - didn't go wrong there! A Kroger and other restaurants were all walkable.

If you are visiting Smokey Mountains National Park for nature - Pigeon Forge is probably not for you, but we were able to overlook the tourist town and had a great two night stay and enjoyed the park (entrance to the park is maybe 20-30 minutes away to Sugarland Entrance...).

We stayed here while attending a convention in Pigeon Forge. Loved it! The rooms were clean, beds comfortable and the staff was helpful. They had a great buffet breakfast with something for eve the pickiest eater and they made omelets to order for you. Very convenient to everything and easy to get in and out of. We will be staying here again next year.

We spent a week in this hotel for spring break (2 parents and 2 small children), and we had a great stay. Our room was spotlessly clean (and my wife is a neat freak), big enough for the 4 of us and beds were comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was good, plenty of hot food, and the pancake and waffle machines were a big hit with our kids. Omelets are cooked to order as well.

The children also loved the indoor pool and the hot tub. While we were there the weather was generally cool so we didn't use the outside slide and lazy river, also because the pools outside were not heated (inside pools are heated by the way). No big deal for us.

The front desk personnel was very friendly and were very helpful to make reservations for shows for us (of which there are many in Pigeon Forge) and get us discounted tickets. The hotel is also located in the middle of all the attractions with all shows and rides just minutes away (some of them are in walking distance even), and the national park is only 20 minutes away.

Minor negative points: wifi connections are iffy in some parts of the building (had to go to the lobby for a good connection), and on weekends or busy events the Parkway (the main road between Sevierville and Gatlinburg) can be very congested and the hotel difficult to reach. But if you use Google maps on your smartphone and use the back roads you can avoid the Parkway and get there in good time.

All in all this was a great stay and we recommend this hotel to anyone. We already decided we will come back one day.
