Surprised that this RV park is not #1! Very nice bathrooms, nicest I've ever seen. Heated pool, playground, paved RV spots, trees, and the river right next to the park.
Only suggestion would be to update the Arcade. At least 25% if the games didn't work ... took my kids quarters :(

We stayed in March in a camping cabin overlooking the campground. Bathrooms/showers were great. Just like the pics on their website - spotless. Game room nice - clean with cameras. Entrances have no gates. Our camping cabin was on the hill - some road noise. Cabins were clean. Campground is located right on the road at the beginning of Pigeon Forge. The tv did not work and was told we needed to move. Given the key to the next cabin and it had no power. We stayed where we were with no tv - used the wireless internet to check local weather forecast. While in the office w/ our issue another gentleman reported power out in his rv and was told to go out and find out which ones were out of power then report back. Seems as if there was only one person working the campground that evening so they were unable to leave office. Overall a nice place but for the cost and the issues was disappointed. Wonder if these issues would have been dealt with better in the summer with a full staff.

Room Tip: Sleep cabins on the hill have a nice view but require a long walk down steep steps to go to the rest...

My inlaws have an RV and kept the kids while my husband and I stayed in a cabin on site, not a camping cabin. Everything was clean. People were friendly. The cabin was very clean. If you are looking for views you might want to try a deluxe cabin off site. We wanted to be onsite with our inlaws. It was very quiet and we felt safe there. The cabins are very close together but if you are looking for something affordable and simple, the cabins work out great. They worked out great for us.

Very friendly people there. They are a little bit higher priced than there neighbors and I cant tell you why. There spots are very very close together. When we stayed there we got a corner spot so no one was right in front of us. Their bath house's are amazing!!!!! They have video cameras everywhere and you can turn to a channel in your RV and watch the security cameras, this would be awesome if traveling with children. We stay here often but only if we can't get in somewhere else. They also have cabins here and in the winter we go and stay in one of them and they are very nice, but once again they are very close together.

I recently celebrated my birthday and chose to spend a weekend camping, to escape the real world for a bit. I actually live in Sevierville, TN so technically I'm a "local." Upon arriving, i had called Riveredge to see about camping cabins. The lady on the phone was so warm and welcoming. I already felt a sense of "home." Once we arrived, I was so impressed with how helpful both ladies were in the office. We (my best friend, and our teenage children) stayed for 2 days in one of their camping cabins. After we unloaded our belongings we took to the street and began exploring. I cannot say enough positive about this place. The cabin was VERY roomy for all of us. It had a full size bed, along side of 2 bunk beds. A dorm size refrigerator and microwave were more than sufficient. It had a TV and WiFi was also available. The pool and hot tub were immaculate with adequate seating around all. There is an arcade with a large number of GREAT classic games and quite a variety of modern games also, pool tables, air hockey. From your cabin, you can watch your children in the game room or laundry room by tuning into channel 3 from your TV. The bathrooms were IMMACULATE! Completely updated with all of the modern amenities you would want in a bathroom. It was SO CLEAN the whole weekend! It is located right before the spur, which takes you into Gatlinburg, at the end of Pigeon Forge. There are shops, restaurants, gas stations, all within walking distance of the park. I look forward to my next trip to Riveredge and will recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great place to stay!
