“Good hotel for anyone.”
Reviewed August 27, 2012

I booked this hotel after reading reviews, and I was not disappointed. Only problems were slow elevator and the breakfast was small, but they give you a voucher for free pancakes, that were good. We went with our friends on a kid free weekend. This hotel is a block behind the parkway, and was quiet. The staff was wonderful and helpful when he had a question. We loved the balcony overlooking the river. We all had a blast and thought this was worth what we paid. The hotel is older but clean. and bed were comfortable. We will definitely be going back. Just got home today and wished we were still there.

Room Tip: The elevator is slow, and there is an option to pay a few dollars more to stay on 2nd floor, and tak...

Yes, this is our 3rd visit to Creekstone....and I stress to you the reason that it is directly on the creek!!!!! There is absolutely no privacy on the balcony, and if your neightbor leaves their light on, you are screwed in regards to insects.

The breakfast: same as before, but with much nicer hostess. Check-in/out are always good. However when I spoke to someone obviously in charge about harassing neighbors above us, she just shook her head and shot a look to the reservation agent as if to say "see, someone else complained". No offer of a reduced rate for our inconvenience.

And the Smoky Mountain Rewards Program??? I've been a member over a year, and have yet to see any benefit. All it does is provide this group with a mailing list. When I mentioned it at check in each time I get a look like "huh?"

Quiet and on the creek-those are our reasons for staying.

The rooms are absolutely dated, but it didn't matter to me. Mine had a nice gas fireplace and little sitting area aside from the sleeping area. Bathroom was small but everything was clean, staff was very friendly. Great location relative to the mountains and other attractions.

We stayed here for our family vacation in August 2012. The hotel is really nice and my favorite part about it was the view from our balcony! We were on the top floor(5th) and the river is right below you with the rapids running over rocks just up from the hotel. There is a really pretty campground just on the other side of the river and the view from the balcony was amazing!! We watched people float on inner tubes(compliments of this hotel!) down the river and watched ducks and geese every day on the river as well! The rooms were clean and spacious and everyone that works there are super nice! My only two "complaints" are the bathroom was really small but manageable, and the elevator. The hotel has 3 stairwells(one in the center and one on each end of the hotel) but only one elevator, which is in the center. My suggestion would be to install another elevator in one of the stairwells because the one they have is SUPER SLOW and the housekeeping have to use it to go from floor to floor with their cleaning carts. Which is not a problem except with the cleaning carts in there, that there is hardly any room for customers to ride with them. I know on numerous occasions my family and other people as well would either give up waiting on the elevator because it moves so slow and just take the stairs or there would be no room for us when the elevator did finally arrive. I think it would be very beneficial to the hotel to invest in another elevator or to at least upgrade the current one. All in all, I would recommend this great hotel to anyone. It was very reasonably priced, great views, friendly staff and clean and roomy. Thanks for a wonderful experience!!!

Just got home from a trip to Pigeon Forge and a stay at the Creekstone Inn. The stay was great, room was clean and housekeeping honored our requests for just towels and trash removal (was only there for 3 days) On the day before we were supposed to leave, we decided we would like to stay another day.....we were able to just pay for another night, same price and didn't have to change rooms. It is a very quiet area across the river from a campground. Loved feeding the ducks and watching the baby ducks play. If you want a clean, quiet place to stay, this is it. As with any hotel there are some updates needed, but overall it is well worth them money! Be sure and ask about specials too!

My only dislike is the dividers between the room balconies. Our "neighbors" next door were not the friendliest and decided to leave their balcony porch light on and it made it impossible to stay out the last evening.

Room Tip: Second floor is a great place to stay.
