Wonderful Condo, this condo was very clean and just beautiful, we stayed 2 nights in this 3 bedroom, 3 bath, condo, there was 8 of us and we had plenty of room. we had 2 balconies, fully equipped kitchen, dining area and living room. the little pigeon river runs right behind condo and listening to the water from the balcony was so relaxing, The pool area is really nice and the children really enjoyed it. This the best place to stay at an affordable price, We all loved it and will be staying there when we go back to pigeon forge. The personel was very nice and helpful. I just can't say enough about this place.

Very nice condo and we enjoyed getting up in the morning and listening to the river. We also noticed there is an otter than has made the river bank his home. It was nice watching the otter each morning making his rounds. The condo was very nice and clean making our stay enjoyable. With easy access to the parkway and Teaster lane makes it easier to get around town and have some fun without sitting in traffic.

So you met our little friend, Chuck:) That is what we have named the otter. We also have a crane, named Ichabob. Bear Crossing is a unique property in Pigeon Forge that offers bot Parkway and River Views at the same time. We are very glad you found us and we hope to see you on your next visit as well! We truly do consider our guests family and we appreciate each of you very much!

Last min. plan changes brought my family to Pigeon Forge for a few days.
We've never stayed here before. Never even heard of it.
My wife stumbled upon it, after searching the web when our normal places were booked up.
Although a bit pricy, the condo was perfect. Very nicely decorated and painted. The kitchen was fully appointed with appliances. The living & dining room were spacious with seating for six.
The patio was actually large enough to entertain on. We spent many hours overlooking the river.
Across the river (easily accessible from here), a bike & hike path leads to the new "Island" in one direction and out of sight in the other.
We found this building to be quiet and peaceful. Even sitting on the balcony, the river washes out most sounds of the traffic hustle & bustle.
I highly recommend staying here, if you need a place with two bedrooms & cooking facilities. I believe we will be staying here again.

After staying at Whispering Pines in March (reviewed earlier) we decided to try Bear Crossing for our three day stay over memorial Day weekend. This is a smaller complex with only about 19 or so units. We rented Unit 502, a three bedroom, 3 full bath unit with a huge balcony overlooking the Little Pigeon River. The unit itself is very nicely appointed and just as the pictures portrayed. There is also a video of the unit on "youtube" . The only problem we had was when we turned on the outdoor patio light from the adjoining master bedroom the power went off in the entire bedroom! We found the breaker box located in the third bedroom and when we flipped the breaker the power was restored. We mentioned it to the lady in the office the next morning and she asked if we wanted someone to look at it but we decided just to wait until we checked out to have them fix it and we just didn't turn it on again. There is another light on the opposite side exiting the living area as well. There are 2 master bedrooms, both with a full bath and Jacuzzi tub( which is inside the bedroom itself). The third bedroom has easy access to the third bath both of which are on the opposite side of the unit. The unit was very clean upon arrival. This unit also has one dedicated covered parking space under the building. Very quiet inside the unit but it was a little noisy on the patio since there is construction of a future ballpark on the hillside opposite Teaster Lane. The noise was minimal and you could hear the river rushing by below which was quite soothing. Overall the location is great with easy access to the Riverwalk and future LeConte Event Center, a few restaurants and shops, and there is a trolley stop in front of the Walgreens. We did not use the outdoor grill or the small pool located on the property. I would recommend this property very highly!

Our family visited the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area during Memorial Day weekend. It started a little rough as our hotel reservations was canceled and it seemed like every hotel worth sleeping in was full. A last we saw Bear Crossing Condos. There was only two rooms left. We asked to view the rooms since we knew nothing of this place. It was absolutely amazing!!!! Nice balcony with lounge chairs and table for eating. Fireplace, which I used as it was cold that weekend and I packed for warmer weather. Nice sized rooms and a jacuzzi tub in the master room. We all really appreciate the Tv's and DVDs in each bedroom and the living room. They offer you free DVD rentals at a local store. There was several other free perks such as free admittance to the aquarium and County Tonight Music Show and the condo sits right behind a 24 hr Walgreen. We found this very useful as the condo only stock very min and we need extra supplies such as our coffee and filters.! Overall, I would recommend this place and would return in a heartbeat.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 101, close to the pool, parking space and stairs but far from the elevators.

I checked into several condos and Bear Crossing came out on top, first off for the price and secondly for the location. Each condo is individually owned and our condo was room 201 which was ideal!

There were two separate King sized bedrooms which were spacious and the master had a huge jacuzzi tub plus a tub/shower combo. The second bathroom had a tub/shower combo as well, even though, you had to leave the bedroom to get to it, it was only a few steps away.

The overall layout of the condo was roomy and clean! The balcony was wonderful even though, we did not spend much time there. It was covered and there was plenty of chairs for 6 people plus a table.

The only complaint would have been the washer/dryer were quite small and that caused us to have to do laundry every day, but that was no big issue, it was just something we noticed.

The location is ideal and if you stay off the Parkway, you can bump out most of the heavy traffic. You can take Teaster Lane and turn onto Jake Thomas and run directly into Bear Crossing.

Bear Crossing is well worth looking into; you will not be sorry!

Room Tip: As far as I know, all the rooms overlook the river, however, there are a few that have a sitting roo...
