After staying at the Hampton in Gatlinburg last year (and not enjoying it) I decided to try a non brand hotel in Pigeon Forge. What can I say...
The breakfast was 5 stars! The room was very clean (I overheard the housekeeping manager, Shannon, telling her girl to re-clean a room, it's nice to know they check on their staff). The staff at the desk was very nice. There was a problem at check in but the staff got the accountant (I think her name was Dianna?) to help us out. I loved being able to walk along the river at night and feel safe.
We will be back!!!
