We stayed three nights, and realized the first night that the circulation fan was not working. We could get no fresh air from the living area to the bedroom. We immediately asked that the problem be fixed, but were told it could not be done until the next day. We were given the choice of a large, dirty floor fan or another room, which would require us to pack up four small children and move. We stayed, but when we got back to our room the next night after being gone all day, the problem still was not fixed until the third day. After seeing a large sign in the room that said they guaranteed our satisfaction 100% or we would not have to pay for the room, we told them that we were not satisfied with the room for two of the three nights, and expected them to honor the guarantee. We were told that the guarantee only extended to one night, although nothing on their guarantee said that. Aside from the hotel's failure to live up to its own customer satisfaction guarantee, they also didn't seem to enforce smoking restrictions, because the halls were full of smoke even though the rooms all seemed to have no smoking signs on them. Finally, the desk staff had the really annoying habit of continually answering phone calls first, even though there were lines of paying guests at the desk waiting for service. Every time the phone would ring, the staff would leave the desk and deal with the call, rather than asking them to hold so the paying guests could be helped.
