We have stayed here several times and always clean, bathroom and bed linens, and we really like the free pancake breakfast the next morning, our grandson gets his with powdered sugar, and I get mine with strawberries and whipped cream, wife gets hers with blueberries and blueberry syrup, the toppings are extra but well worth it , everybody that I ran into there that worked for the motel were very friendly and helpful, the motel is alittle older but it has been kept up .

Room Tip: great location, close to Dollywood, great value too,

Great Value”

We were thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us here at the Rodeway Inn. We take a lot of pride in providing clean, comfortable rooms. Our reward is that we have done just that. I will make sure that I pass on to the staff at the Pancake house how much you enjoyed your pancakes. We look forward to your next visit with us.

We enjoyed our stay at the Rodeway. Our room was very clean, especially the linens and bathroom. The hotel is older, so it's not like a resort by any means. For the price and location, this hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only downside was the pool -- it was not as clean as it could have been. The pool also needs some serious resurfacing. But other than that, we absolutely loved our stay at the Rodeway Inn in Pigeon Forge!

This is the 5th time we stayed at the Rodeway Inn. Great service friendly people. We weren't supposed to check in until June 29 but we got there a day earlier so I called to see if we could arrive to our room earlier than planned, not a problem they said come on in. Stayed 8 nights instead of 7, the rooms were clean, very friendly cleaning staff, clean sheets always, always plenty of towels, like I've said before home away from home.

Room Tip: Rooms have great a/c units. Plenty of parking.

We checked in July 3rd at 2PM, which was an early check-in with no problem. The Front Desk staff were very polite and professional. The location of the motel is at Traffic Light #10 just as you start on the Parkway to Gatlinburg. There is a gas station/convent Store next door that is great for snacks and drinks. As an added bonus we had a complimentary Pancake breakfast at the restaurant on the property. The service was exceptionally fast and the pancakes were great. We had coffee and I ordered a glass of milk with the meal which was supposed to be an extra charge and the milk was comped.
The entire motel is well maintained and very clean.
If you are looking for a super good motel in the Pigeon Forge / Garlinburg area, you will be pleased with this property.

This is not a five star resort, but I have stayed at five star resorts that could learn a thing or two from the staff at this hotel. If you have an issue, the staff jumps on it with an immediacy that will astound. For example, our room was missing a remote when we checked in and we had the remote almost before we hung up the phone. When we asked for extra towels they were delivered with amazing speed.
This is an older hotel, but it is keep very clean. The amenities are all well kept, but the stuff is older, for example the TVs are fine but they are not flat screen. The beds are nice and soft. The bathroom is a bit small, but the sink is located out of the bathroom so that is a plus. The only amenity I wished the hotel had was a drying rack for the swimsuits from our nightly visit to the pool.
You get a choice of a free continental breakfast of a pancake breakfast at the restaurant on site. It is four large pancakes, more than week can eat. The hotel itself is located at the very southern end of town, very close to Dollywood and the Great Smokey Mountain National Forest.
This may be the best staff I have ever dealt with at a hotel.

Room Tip: Hotel is divided into three buildings. The pool is near building 3 and the restaurant is between bui...

We booked VERY last minute for our trip through Dollywood packages - so we probably didn't exactly get the room of our choice of course but we had a double queen room non smoking. It was clean & just big enough for the two of us - came with a microwave and fridge which was a plus. The downsides of our room: We were on the 2nd floor - the middle floor - so we heard all the kids running around above us and sometimes pretty early in the morning. The other downside, we were on the side of the main road - so VERY early I would be woken up by motorcycles & kids. So if you're looking for quiet, I suggest a room in the back side of the hotel for sure. If you're looking for SUPER quiet, you may want to stay off of the Parkway all together.

We didn't use the pool, so can't really comment on it. But we did go use the free pancake breakfast our first morning... Which I actually regretted sadly. The staff didn't seem very happy and it was very noticable and the pancakes, well, they weren't very flavorful at all. Needless to say, I went across the street to the Log Cabin Pancake House the next 2 days of our trip (which was delicious!!) so I wouldn't recommend the included pancake house.

Otherwise, location was great, it's the last hotel before you head on the road into Gatlinburg coming out of Pigeon Forge. There's a gas station next store which can be handy. Oh and if you are someone who has trouble getting around, book the first floor. This is an older hotel so it only has ramps, no elevators. Just FYI :)

I'd stay again as the price was right & the rooms were clean & had enough space for 2. But I wouldn't do the breakfast next time.

Room Tip: If you like less noise, ask for a room on the back side of the building and go for the top floor.

Booked a Mem Day weekend trip to PF rather late in the month and therefore couldn't stay at more "known" commodity chain that we would typically. The Rodeway was an affordable, albeit no-frills alternative. If you're looking for plush, luxurious accomodations, this place is not for you. The rooms and their trimmings are of the older variety -- TVs are not flat screened, the towels are not plush, the extras are few and of the cheaper variety. Room was on the small side and the mattresses weren't great, but I've had much worse at more pricey hotels.

But that said, the rooms were very neat and clean. Our water and A/C worked great. And the cleaning staff was above par. Our room was cleaned by a kid named Jimmy who asked several times if there was any thing that we needed, left us hand written notes about his caretaking of our room and even offered to help take the luggage out to our car. The restaurant staff were great as well -- very helpful and cordial, polite and attentive.

Liked the fact that it was at the S end of town, so there was a little less hustle and bustle. The pool was nice but its not heated and when we were there it was COOOOLD! I'd tend to opt for a room away from the main strip and the side road that gets heavy traffic too.

Don't know that I'd recommend it necessarily, but if you're tight on funds and you want a low key alternative to the more pricey options up the strip, then this is a good option.
