Traveling with my husband on a business trip. We had made reservations here, and it was a welcome sight to see after driving several hours.

We had Camille check us in...very friendly and pleasant...and very diplomatic, since we saw her later fixing a *problem* in another room to the customer's satisfaction, since we saw him the next morning at breakfast (not sure what the problem in his room might have been, but he stayed the night in the same room).

Lovely décor and generous room and bathroom size. Very clean and fresh smelling. Breakfast was pretty standard for a hotel breakfast...and I would love to be here in the summer when the patio would be open for breakfast seating with a lovely view.

All the employees we encountered were friendly and pleasant. We would definitely stay here if visiting the area again.

We travel to the Pickwick area very often and always stay here. Friends often as if we have a home here and we reply, "yes". It is 3 story, we only pay insurance & taxes for the time we are here, have maid service, breakfast every day, warm cookies most afternoons, and we can spend all our time doing fun things since we have no time spent on maintenance. In the past we have owned vacation homes and found this is the best. Staff is friendly and will go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and at home. Special requests are always give consideration. There is ample parking for boats with facilities for charging batteries, etc.

Room Tip: We prefer 3rd floor away from elevators and vending machines. This is a small motel in conparison wi...

Nicest hotel in the area. Staff was very friendly and efficient. The room/hotel was very clean & not as worn as some Hampton's in the rural areas The hotel was away from the road and was quieter than most hotels. We will stay again if in the area.

This is an extremely good choice ! It is clean, large rooms, with a great staff. At first you feel isolated, but down the road you find restaurants . It is quiet and scenic. The beds are comfortable. There is a pool and outdoor seating in season. It was a littl cool for us.
I would return for sure!

Room Tip: Even numbered rooms look out to the back....trees and decent view

This hotel started our love affair with Hampton Inn's which lasted over the course of our roadtrip. It was just perfect. We went into here after looking at the Inn at Pickwick Landing and the contrast was incredible. This place is more expensive, but there is a reason for it. That said I was able to obtain a discount being ex-military which was nice.

Staff (Diedre Briggs and Daniel Loveridge)were really friendly and the home made, complimentary cookies at 4pm were just gorgeous. Pool was in the shade by the time we got there, but it was still nice to relax in and beneath the pool was a golf course which I didnt feel like relaxing on :) . The pool was being cleaned when I woke the next morning which was nice to see.

Anyway, the room was amazing. Clean, crisp sheets, with a huge room and huge bathroom. Everything was clean and impeccable. We just loved the room and the breakfast was great, the best we had in the US. Wi-Fi worked really well and it was just perfect. My fiancée said "I'm in heaven" when we entered our room.

The renovations appear to be completed as there was no evidence of any work goign on and the place seemed pristine.

There is no taxi service in the area, but the Hampton Inn were able to get a guy (George) who picked us up and took us to a local eatery for a $20 tip, despite him having to get up at 5am the next day.

As a consequence of the service we had here and the quality of the place, we ensured that the rest of our nights were all spent in Hampton Inns. We just got the previous Inn to book our next one and had a great time.

Room Tip: Disabled rooms are the biggest it seems, but all rooms were nice.
