“Just GPS the address and close your eyes !!!!”
Reviewed June 25, 2014

This place is a very different than anything you will have been too...once you turn onto the gravel road to the restaurant, you will realize what I am talking about...looks like a trailer park...but don't be fooled...the place is great...you will have to go to the far back door...and then ring a doorbell to get in...rumor has that was an old "shine" establishment...not sure that is true ?? We had the sweetest waitress...from the Hi Y'all to the Bye Y'all...the French Onion Soup was awesome, the salad was ok (lettuce was white) and the steak (for the price) was not very big !!! It's taste was awesome...but the steak was way too thin. I would recommend it for the experience...and the drinks weren't half bad either.

“Great steak place”
Reviewed April 30, 2014

Dined here on a Saturday evening on the recommendation of the front desk clerk at the hotel we stayed at. We were not disappointed. We were greeted promptly and warmly and shown to a comfortable side booth near the back of the larger of two dining areas. The building is an old Am-Vets facility and we were informed that that organization still meets there regularly, thanks to the indulgence of the current owners. Décor is pleasantly rustic with numerous English hunt prints gracing the walls. Our server (Yolanda, I think) was a delight. She's a regular who has worked here for several years and knows the menu and the kitchen staff and will steer you right. We both had steaks which were tender, tasty and cooked exactly to order. The double stuffed baked potato with cheese side dish is not to be missed. Menu prices are very reasonable, bar service is adequate, wine choices are limited. Great place for a hearty steak dinner.

“Best Prime rib”
Reviewed March 16, 2014

Prime rib was melt in mouth good. Very we'll seasoned and perfectly cooked. Also had the black and blue salad which was great. Steak topper was cooked perfectly and it had more than enough blue cheese. Great atmosphere and prices were very reasonable. Will definitely be back.

“Giving the Fox another try....”
Reviewed March 9, 2014

Last fall I wrote a review about a less than positive experience at Fox and Hounds and was pleasantly surprised to see that Tim, the owner had responded. Last week, my husband and I made a return trip and found an entirely new atmosphere. We felt welcomed, met some others who were apparently 'regulars' and enjoyed speaking to them. It was a totally fun evening out. We'll definitely keep Fox and Hounds on our short list of places to return to often!
