Though HIE was $10 more than another hotel, when you consider a good breakfast for three people, HIE was definitely the better value.

The rooms were very clean. We had a "King Suite", which is one king-size bed plus a pull-out couch, plus a bit more room.

The pull-out couch was intolerable. I took the mattress, which was perfectly fine, and put it on the floor, where it worked very well. Problem solved. I suggest that, if you have one of these, you do the same.

This hotel was amazingly clean and has a trendy look. We only stayed one night, but it was fabulous. Beds are comfy with upgraded linens. We were in a standard 2 queen room. Bathroom was large and had a nice decor. Location is right off the interstate. We were extremely pleased with our stay. The indoor pool was a little small and chilly, but I didn't find it to be a big deal. We had some noisy neighbors as well, but as far as the actual hotel it was great and I would highly recommend staying there. If we ever go back that way again, I will not stay anywhere else but the Holiday Inn.

We stayed here after visiting Smoky Mountains NP. We wanted something away from the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area and we were going to go to Greeneville to see the Andrew Johnson NHS. We had a suite room and it was really nice. This hotel seemed to be somewhat new. It is in a decent location, and service was good. Free hot breakfast had the scrambled eggs, bacon, and biscuit (no gravy though) and it was good. Parking is free. I didn't hear any noise when sleeping.

Stayed here with husband and two teen sons. The room was great. We purchased a suite online and got a really good price. When you walk in the room there is a pull out sofa, then a short wall that "divides" the room and the bedroom giving a bit of privacy from one area to the next. The bedroom had 2 queen beds that were wonderful! Nice roomy bathroom and beautiful countertop. I only have two complaints -- no exhaust fan in the bathroom and the microfridge was not very cold. I probably could have had this changed if I would have told the front desk, but it was not a priority for me. The staff in the hotel were GREAT---FROM THE HOUSEKEEPERS TO THE FRONT DESK TO THE BREAKFAST ATTENDANT--- everyone was awesome! It seemed that they enjoyed their job and wanted to do well at it. We just had a good and restful time!

Hotel was very clean. Staff courteous and helpful. Workout room and pool are small, but they were not crowded when we were there, so that didn’t matter much for us. Breakfast was the usual Holiday Inn Express fare. Food area was clean and well stocked. This is a great stop spaced between Ashville and Gatlinburg.

This Holiday Inn Express lived up to my expectations based on previous visits to other hotels in the chain: comfortable beds, clean rooms, quiet spaces, ample breakfast options. The location, just off the highway, is convenient (but a little hard to get out of the parking lot). The staff were friendly when we could find them (but had to search for them many times). The pool is small, and there's no hot tub, but it seemed clean and there were plenty of extra towels. Our room was nicely appointed with a king-size bed, sleeper sofa, desk/office area, and small kitchenette (fridge, microwave, sink).

from the moment we stepped thru the door it was fantastic! Helen greeted us with the utmost pleasure, the decor was stylish and comforting. We decided to splurge and get a Jacuzzi suite. Once we got into our room we were astounded by the beauty and spaciousness. Huge bed that we couldnt help but jump on like children, very comfy and relaxing. The jacuzzi tub was in the main room and was very much needed and loved. The bathroom was spacious as was the 3headed shower that was big enough to fit 2people. We walked down to the pool area, and Helen asked how we liked our room as we went by and of course it was wonderful, you could tell she was wanting to make sure we felt at home. The pool was nice and heated, you could swim out and it was still heated but because it was cold outside we didnt stay long out there lol. We definitly will be staying there again on our travels.
