It is around 40 degrees outside and when I walked into the room the heater was turned off. I turned it on, put it to 80 and left. I came back 4 hours later and the room was freezing because the heater was blowing cold air. The engineer came up, propped the door open and then left to get a new heater. I closed the door because it is freezing outside (my nose is running, I haven't stopped sneezing and my head hurts). When he came back he brought with him a new heater. The wifi is good and there are free cookies, fruit and water in the reception. However, the lighting in the rooms is awful.

Clean rooms, comfortable beds and linens, quiet, perfect location for sightseeing, delicious breakfasts, super accommodating staff. Katie was very helpful in acquiring our last minute transportation needs, she got us to the Opry on time! We were a group of ladies and felt very safe. Someone was always available in the office, and the grounds were kept clean and trash free. And there was no shortage of bath linens! Katie and all the staff were very friendly, cheerful and helpful. We stayed for 5 nights, the hotel is within walking distance to several Nashville attractions, so we "fueled up" each morning at the breakfast buffet. Perfect trip!

The hotel itself is very simple and basic, but is worth it for the location. It is an easy walk away from neighborhoods like the Gulch for more high end shopping and dining, Music Row for fun bars, and downtown for the classic sights. Most other destinations (like the Parthenon, Vanderbilt, etc.) are a quick and cheap Uber ride away.

Wanted a place that was convenient with a pet friendly room and this hotel fit the bill. We thought the rate was very reasonable and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were able to walk all around downtown Nashville with our dog which is just what we wanted to do. While the room wasn’t anything special, it was clean and comfortable.
We thought it was a good value for the price. We would stay here again.

We stayed for 3 nights and our rooms were nice. Ours must have already been remodeled. Room 323. The hotel is older with doors opening to the outside, but not a problem for us. The breakfast was good and located on the third floor above the check in area. They were offering omelettes on a trial basis and were very good. Breakfast was available starting at 6:30. We walked downtown, which was a 15-20 minute walk or you could call for a golf cart ride. No charge, just tips. Highway 40 was next to the hotel, but The highway didn't affect our sleep.

Room Tip: We were in room 323, above the pool but only saw one person using it as it's outside.
