“good deal for the money”
Reviewed July 8, 2013

Stayed at the Comfort Inn June 28 - July 1, 2013. There were 22 girls, they put us on the 3rd floor but altogether in non-smoking rooms. There is a walkway around everyfloor so you can smoke right outside your door. The pool is nice, the lobby was under construction but no big deal. It is close to downtown about a $5.00 cab ride. Right across the street there are about 5 restaurants that deliver til 5am. Two blocks away is an Esso gas station for beer and wine. And only about 3 blocks away is a liquor store. The rooms aren't really big, but clean. Maids very nice. Free breakfest was really good. It is a good deal for the money.

Thank you very much for your feed back and choosing us for your recent stay.Given the very nature of the hotel business, the hours are long and demanding. Day or night, good service depends upon people willing to give their very best at all times. That's why it's truly rewarding when a guest recognizes our staff’s efforts, and takes the time to say thank you.Again, let me thank you for your kind words. We're committed to total guest satisfaction, and we look forward to your next visit.

I booked this through choice hotels. This place has outside doors to the rooms and the bathroom is tiny! I asked to see the room before we checked in and then we cancelled. The trash can by the elevator smelled like puke!

If you have allergies to smells or cleaning products, do not book this hotel. After we arrived, we were given a non-smoking room that clearly had been smoked in and air freshener had been used to cover the smell. The second room had a lethal amount of the same air freshener, which also bothered my allergies. Finally we were able to track down a room that they had not sprayed the airfreshener in, but it was filthy dirty with old soap and a razor left in the bathroom. The carpets are old and dirty and the furniture is falling apart.

The lobby was under construction, however, the rooms were clean and nice. You are less than a mile from Music Row and within walking distant to many places. We spent 2 nights there. The pool looked clean cool and refreshing although we didn't get a chance to take a dip. The "Tin Roof" was just across the street and we caught a Billy Currington concert there on Friday night! It was great. I'd say the hotel once finished will be easier to navigate the parking lot. They have smoking rooms for us smokers upstairs and an elevator if needed. I'd stay there again. I would recommend that during the construction they lower the prices. But considering it's a great location right off interstate and easy to find and convenient to downtown Nashville, that won't happen. None the less, we enjoyed our stay.

Room Tip: Room 329 had a great view from balcony of the Nashville Skyline!

Recently paid over $300 to stay Friday and Saturday night. Seemed a bit pricey for the accommodations. We were in a king room which wasn't really too bad. Others in our party had extremely dirty carpet, non working exhaust fans and cramped conditions. Yes, the construction was a pain and it took up some of the precious parking. Next time we will find a better way to spend our money.

This is a disaster! The lobby, the construction, the parking, the garbage trucks were all BIG problems. The lobby was hidden away in the middle of the construction, the construction crew has all the parking places blocked by there equipment, our room was by the dumpster and the trucks come early every morning! The rooms were dirty, the vents were falling of the walls, the bathrooms were tiny! The towels ripped while we were drying off after a shower! The sheets had holes in them. The refrigerator had a peculiar odor. It is a shame that Comfort Inn has to put its name on this establishment!

Hotel construction makes entry & exit of the parking lots difficult. The lobby is a postage stamp now so only 2 or 3 people can fit in there until the construction is complete. The lot next door has some building going up & they were still just digging the foundation so expect the dust, dirt, noise of that construction to spill over into the hotel. The rooms are small & the bathroom requires you to almost stand in the tub to be able to swing the door closed. No closet in the room, just a cheap standalone cabinet. Overall a major disappointment in a very nice city.

Room Tip: Away from the pool (noisy), away from the parking lot (construction), away from the lobby (hotel con...
