The Renaissance Nashville Hotel has this very cool restaurant/bar that stretches over Commerce Street. The food is good (great for a quick bite for lunch and happy hour munchies), the drinks are great and with the floor-to-ceiling windows and the ceiling of windows, you feel like you are outside, without being outside. Amanda and Margie took great care of me. They are sweet, friendly, patient, professional, and keep a smile on their faces - all of which I very much appreciate!

The breakfast and dining options were both wonderful. The food is great and the service is very friendly. At breakfast, I did not get the name of the lady staffing the omelette station, but she was very friendly and prepare the best Hotel omelette I've had. Our table was waited by Janet Cullen, who was extremely helpful and friendly. Southern hospitality at its best!!!

There are two dining choices in this hotel, and both are excellent. The Commerce Street Grill is a more upscale restaurant, and the Bridge Deli is a lunch option for quick, casual food. Amanda and Marge staff the Bridge Deli, and are super friendly and accommodating. They are an outstanding example of what southern hospitality is all about.

I cheer the many hotel staff members who made our stay both welcoming and comfortable. It was a busy place but even when the elevator line got long a manager came out and escorted us up the back employee elevators so we didn't have to wait. It is the little things that make a difference and that simple gesture was much appreciated. The rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet. I asked for a room on an upper floor so I could see downtown. The location was perfect for walking to all the great hot spots. This is a solid choice for a comfortable stay.

Room Tip: I enjoy the upper floors because of the views but be prepared to wait on an elevator if there is a b...

Great place to stay in Nashville downtown. Valet is pretty much mandatory or you can park your own in pay lot across street but you can only pay until 6am so you'll have to feed the meter early or risk a ticket. I don't like to get gouged for parking so I did. I think valet is $25+ or so, which isn't too bad.
Good food in hotel, breakfast and dinner. Upstairs bar is nice but Broadway is just a few steps away.
Close to Ryman. Overall, one of the nicest Nashville hotels but a little pricey like any other full service hotel.

Room Tip: Higher floor equals better view, but fairly slow elevators.

Located near Broadway and the Ryman Auditorium, yet quite at night when you need to relax. The hotel has the staff and appointments that you would expect in Renaissance experience. The staff in the restaurant, in particular Janet Cullen, were all attentive to our dining experience.

Room Tip: Higher Floor have a wonderful view
