I recently stayed here with my mom and two nephews. We all loved it. The location can't be beat. The entire hotel was really clean. The boys swam in the pool one night and had a great time. While we were there they were having a benefit concert on the bridge. It was such a great time. We had a few appetizers while we were watching the show and they were great. Having a Starbucks in the lobby was so nice. Even though a big convention was next door we never had to wait for a thing. All of the staff were wonderful. I can't recommend this hotel enough and I can't wait to come back.

Renaissance Nashville is an average hotel in Downtown Nashville. Although it's an older property and the rooms show their age, the service was very good. Front desk staff was very warm, friendly and efficient. This hotel is within walking distance of some local bars/restaurants. A/C was not as strong as I'd like, but it was adequate. Overall an okay business stay.

We stay in Nashville downtown about once a month, normally staying at the Sheraton. We decided to take our daughter for anovernight stay and wanted to stay somewhere very close to downtown. This was a very quick walk to broadway, so the location is perfect. Pick a high floor facing broadway, ask the desk and they will try to find one for you. We stayed in 2103, perfect view!! The check in gorl, Racquel, was so friendly, and had a box of chocaltes delivered up to our daughter for her first time in Nashville, which was so sweet1 Everyone was so nice, valet, bell boys, etc. The pool and hot tub was great too!! The rooms were a little dated, and so was the furniture that is the only negative I have to say about the hotel. Rooms were still nice and beds very comfortable!!

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor facing broadway

Just stayed in Nashville. Staff is great. Lobby are is very appealing. Rooms, while clean, are tired and need an update-not worth the price. WiFi is $13.95 per day...give me a break! It is time for the "upscale" hotels to upgrade and offer free WiFi in the rooms. As a business traveler, this is a tiresome policy.

My husband and I stay at the Renaissance Nashville Hotel often when we visit Nashville to attend shows at the Ryman. The hotel is conveniently located only 2 blocks from the Ryaman auditorium. The rooms are large, clean, and well appointed. The parking deck is across the street from the hotel and there is a crosswalk that goes from the parking deck to the hotel above the street level.
As with all Marriott hotels, the bedding is very comfortable. The rooms on the higher levels have wonderful views of the Nashville skyline. The restaurant has a very good breakfast buffet.

Room Tip: Ask for an upper level room to ensure that you have a good view of the city. Join the Marriott Rewa...

I stayed here due to a tradeshow at the Convention Center. The Customer Service staff were friendly, efficient and very competent. The check-in and check-out were quick with no hesitations. I had a package mailed to the hotel and I was notified immediately upon check-in and it was delivered promptly. I only ate at the restaurant once for lunch and ordered a "small" salad and it was more than enough for a lunch in quantity and tasted great. A co-worker had the make your own mac and cheese and was impressed with his final dish. The room was great and surprisingly quiet. The cleaning staff were very polite and efficient. Overall, a wonderful stay and a place I would return to visit even if not for business.

Stayed Here last weekend for a family getaway, we had 2 rooms side by side. We could not have asked for a better location for shopping, reataurants and nightlife. The staff was great, except the maid missed cleaning one of our rooms. We ate at the breakfast buffet on Sunday and the chef made us some wonderful omelets. He was very nice and we really enjoyed his hospitality. We also ordered the 24 hour room service and the food was delivered pdq for a 2 am service call (a little pricey). We visted the starbucks in the lobby every morning. If you are marriott rewards member you get 25 percent off the hotel restaurants ( we used it for the breakfast buffett $12 versus $16)...The hotel decor could be updated a bit, but we loved it and will stay here again.
