Paid $400 + for a bed, no water pressure, very poorly appointed. Check in was slow. It took over 30 minutes to check in. Staff is not helpful. View from my room was air conditioners. Really disappointed.

Parking for one night is $32. Bring your visa and no expectations.

I visited stayed in the Loews Vanderbilt in Nashville for three nights and I can't say enough good things about the hotel and the staff. Recently remodeled, the decor is fresh, comfortable, welcoming, yet just edgy enough to be interesting. The staff, from the general manager to the doorman, could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. They made me feel welcome and valued every moment of my stay. And its easy access to downtown. Look forward to returning. Highly recommend.

Room Tip: I didn't try the pool or spa so have no comment about those, but I would guess they would be fab...

I visited several months ago and again recently. They have undergone a fancy renovation (reportedly costing $17 million dollars). The lobby and the common areas are larger and quite nice. The rooms are smallish, but tastefully appointed and quiet.

But after a fancy upgrade, I suppose you have to recover the costs somehow. But $24/day for self parking, $10 for WIRED Internet, costs to use their business center computers or to print, this place is terrible value. In the end, you are better choosing another hotel if you expect business amenities.

Hello VistingCdn,
Thank you for writing a review following your stay at the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel. Though we did recently finish a very large renovation the price points for parking and in room internet were previously established. Please note that we do offer complimentary internet in all of our public areas, on the premium guest floors, and as a perk for being a part of the Loews YouFirst loyalty program. As for parking we stay within competitive rates relative to other hotels located in the city. We do allow guest in and out garage privileges without a charge but once per night on the folio. We apologize for any inconveniences the additional costs might have caused as we do not want you to feel like we have hidden fees.
Best Regards,

I hadn't been in the hotel since they renovated, and it made a huge difference. The lobby is great and the lobby bar is twice as big as the old one. Had dinner at Mason's and it was delicious.

The BEST part of the trip was Miguel in the Concierge lounge. He was helpful and kind. He had a beautiful singing voice, and he made me feel welcome each time I visited. He went above and beyond to make my stay pleasant.

Room Tip: Stay on the concierge floor and get to know Miguel who is there in the afternoons

Greetings teetums,
Thank you for taking the time to write a review following your first trip back to the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel since our extensive renovation. We are excited to see that you are enjoying all the new changes to the lobby and our Mason’s restaurant! Though we did change our look we certainly could not change the type of warm hospitality Miguel is able to offer to all of our guests. Please come back and visit when in Nashville, Miguel always loves visits from his hotel friends.
Best Regards,

My wife and I took our first trip to Nashville in June for the CMA Fanfest. A friend recommended Loews and we were not disappointed. We upgraded to a suite and had an upper floor with a great view of Vanderbilt and downtown. The bell staff, front desk, valets, and especially the concierges were extremely helpful and friendly. The went above and beyond for every part of our vacation. The concierge even helped us acquire very difficult to find tickets to CMA events. The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom and showers were very spacious and again very clean. We will definitely be staying here again as Nashville was a wonderful city to visit.

We were traveling across country and stayed at Loews in night. We are not sure if it was just bad luck or a bad Hotel, but from the moment of arrival things went downhill. We had to wait for the valet during our arrival because he was to busy shooting the breeze with a friend on a skateboard. When we arrived to the room, the rooms was nice, but it was hot. So we turned down the air, and went to bed. The air never cooled, and by 7am our room was 89 degrees! When we tried to call the front desk the phone did not work. My husband walked down to the desk, and they apologized and got us a new room so that we could shower and get ready without having a heat stroke. Other than switching our room, this is all that was done for the inconvenience of not sleeping well, and having to repack to move to a new room. NOT sure what we were thinking, but we decided to eat breakfast at the Hotel before we continued our trip! NOT a good idea. Food is worse than any airplane food we have ever eaten. I mean how hard is it to fry up a couple eggs. They were burned. The only good item of food was the fruit bowl. I am hoping that this was just our bad luck, or an off day for the Hotel, but sadly we will never return to try it out!
