This hotel was a good value and convenient to downtown, the West End (Vanderbilt), and Opryland. Lack of free continental breakfast was the only drawback.

This hotel is as stated in the previous reviews.

We enjoyed our stay here because it was simple, clean, and a great place to take a nap.

It's only a short drive to the strip and super convenient to the airport....I can't even remember hearing an airplane.

  • Liked — The close proximity to many neat non music row sites
  • Disliked — That it wasn't closer to music row

I stayed here for two nights while hooking up with some friends who stayed nearby.

The service was excellent from start to finish:
- complimentary pickup from airport (guy called Art) you just need to call from the freephones beside baggage collection
- check in desk clerk (Ashley) - was so friendly and polite and when she discovered I was meeting up with friends, made sure our rooms were close together
- breakfast service (ours was included in price) was unobtrusive but thorough

I arrived a few hours before my friends and Ashley organised for Art and his complimentary bus to take me to a local restaurant for dinner (there is no restaurant onsite) - which I thought was so kind and helpful when she could have just told me to order a takeaway!

The room itself was spotlessly clean, had a king bed with many, many pillows - and free wireless internet which was appreciated.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone - I was very impressed and really enjoyed my stay, short as it was :)

The hotel is a very good value. The room was clean and comfortable. The only issue I had was no one would answer the phone when I would call the front desk or hotel operator. This happened no matter what time of day. If they'd answer their phone I'd switch this review to excellent.

  • Liked — great value
  • Disliked — the front desk doesn't answer the phone

Room was small for all the furniture. We had a king bed plus sleeper sofa and desk. Crowded for three people. Top floor room with sliding door to a small balcony that you could sit on and look out over the pool and courtyard. Unfortunately the people in the room below were smokers, and sat out on the balcony and smoked late into the night, so that the smoke all made its way up to our balcony, and into our open door. This hotel is supposed to be non smoking, and will ask at the desk if that applies to the balconies! Next time I would ask for a room without a balcony for this reason. We did not use the pool, but it looks lovely and quite large. We won't have time for the breakfast buffet, which seems pricey at $9 per. Free ethernet in the rooms, free parking. Very close to airport, therefore convenient, but also a lot of loud plane noise, even with the windows closed. No restaurant on site, other than the breakfast bar. Located in woodsy area which seems to mostly office buildings. Price seemed reasonable.

  • Liked — Cleanliness. Sofabed. Location.
  • Disliked — Plane noise. Small room. Smoke from nearby balcony.

We came here after a BAD experience with a Super 8 Hotel.
This Marriot Courtyard was very reasonably priced, had a very nice pool area, and the room was beautiful. A+!

Stayed here on a Thursday night. Room rate was $149 and over $170 with tax. Not all that cheap for the quality of the hotel.

Our bed was lopsided, it had a dip on the side that appeared to be used most often. The TV is in an odd place and not easy to watch from the bed.

Noise from the airport is very loud at times. We did not have our air condition/heater running, that may have helped a bit. But we did wake up from the airplane noise.

Breakfast buffet is OK but nothing fancy for the $11.

Staff was efficient and friendly.

  • Disliked — Airport noise
