“Hidden Gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2014

Wow! A hidden gem not too far from Grand Ole Opry and Downtown Nashville.

Their rooms are sparkly, spacious, and modern but their commitment to customer satisfaction makes this hotel shine above the rest.

Keana and Karl at the front desk were polite, friendly, and insanely accommodating. They were both attentive to our needs, satisfying all of our requests with a welcoming smile.

Karl even gave us insider’s tips on finding great bargains only a local would know. Thanks Karl!

Their hot Southern Buffet Breakfast was amazing! Their selection will satisfy even the most demanding in the family. I had the eggs and sausage with biscuits, waffles, and a nice cup of fresh coffee. Yum!

Thanks guys. We will always treasure your exceptional hospitality!

Very clean, spacious suites with a sitting room separated from the bed room. Two large tvs & we had a balcony. A shuttle runs free between the hotel & broadway during the evening hours. The only issue we've had is they are SERIOUS about their food serving times ... We were snapped at in the evening when we were waiting for snacks/happy hour & again when someone was trying to eat breakfast at 9:02 (it closed at 9:00). Otherwise, it's a great little find. I would stay here again.

Thank you,

For your review. I feel I need to clear a few things up.
We do not offer a free shuttle form our hotel to downtown.
We offer a free shuttle form the airport to the hotel only! 7am - 11pm
Also we are very serious about our food serving times they are the same for all of our guests.
Once again Thank you for your review

I arrived in Nashville without a reservation...bad idea when there was a thousand things going on in the city. All of the downtown places were booked and way too expensive. I had checked on several discount hotel sites but it wasn't until I arrived that Club Hotel popped up. I didn't want to waste more time looking; I had to find somewhere to stay. I was quite happy with the room as it was non-smoking and it appeared to be very new accommodations. The bed was very comfortable and at least five pillows and there was ample lighting all around the room. The bathroom was clean and had all the little toiletries available. It was very nice and for a last minute booking I got everything I wanted had I made it months ahead of time. There have been renovations recently so if you've stayed in the past and didn't have a good experience, I would suggest another try, especially if you need to be near the airport. Breakfast buffet was good, too.

We booked two rooms here on a third party site for a one night stay on a Thursday night.

The location was easy to find, right off the expressway and only 5-10 minutes to downtown Nashville. It is located on an dead end street that has several other hotels and a couple businesses so there was not alot of traffic. Although this also put the hotel a tad out of the way from anything within walking distance. They have a shuttle that will drop you off/pick you up downtown for $10 per person round trip (one trip per $10, not an endless shuttle). Parking is free at the hotel.

Check in was quick and easy. The desk clerk was friendly. However, when we asked to have a king bed instead of two queens, we were told there would be a $10 "room change" fee. No thanks, we kept the queen beds.

The lobby is large. There is also a large seating area for breakfast with many tables/chairs and a nice view of the courtyard/pool area. There are several TV screens in the lobby area along with a brochure rack of local points of interest.

We were given two rooms next to each other on the first floor. On the way to the rooms we noted the carpet in the hallway appears to be newer, as it was bright and clean. There are also vending machines in hall. One with candy/chips, one with ice cream and there was another for medical supplies (band aids, aspirin, etc).

The rooms were large with plenty of room to move around, even with two beds. There was one dresser with 4 drawers and a flat screen TV on top, a desk/chair and another sitting chair. There is also a mini fridge and microwave. The carpet could be replaced as there were stains and visible dust build up around the baseboards. There did not seem to be a ton of cable channels, probably just the basic package. There is a phone and alarm clock on night stand between the beds.

The sink is in a separate area outside the bathroom. There is a small hair dryer attached to the wall by the sink. The bathroom was clean, but did need some updating. There was major cracked grout along the tub, the shower curtain was frayed and the shower rod had rust. The shower head was a big issue. It was a plastic adjustable head and it was broken. Not very adjustable and the water sprayed in an awkward fashion. The bed was comfortable enough and there were 4 pillows provided on each bed.

There were very nice bath toiletries provided, including shampoo/conditioner, a make up remover wipe, mouth wash and a shower cap. Another nice room feature is the free wi-fi. No passwords needed and the connection worked fine for us.

We did notice some noise from the floor above us at night. However, the hotel was full with a large group of teenaged girls from a sports team. And the noise stopped around midnight. This probably is not typical.

The best features of this hotel (and probably a best kept secret) are the appetizer/cocktail hour and the breakfast bar. The appetizer/cocktail hour is free Monday - Thursday from 5:30-7pm. They set this up in the breakfast area in the lobby and it consisted of a full bar (alcohol, beer, soda) and plates full of food ! Hot food consisted of mostaccioli and meatballs in BBQ sauce. There was a full salad bar, cheese & crackers, fresh fruit salad, chips & salsa/cheese, Chex mix and popcorn. You could take as much as you like, including drinks.

The breakfast bar is an additional $10 (or can be purchased as a room package rate) and is served from 6-9am. It was also impressive including scrambled eggs, bacon, fried potatoes, biscuits & gravy and waffles. There was also fresh fruit, yogurt, bagels, toast, cold cereal and oatmeal. There is a juice machine with a variety of juices, along with coffee and a variety of teas.

Unfortunately, the outdoor pool was not yet open so I can not comment on that.

Overall, we felt this was a great value for the money. Good location and friendly staff. We really appreciated the appetizer/cocktail hour !

I stayed here for 6 nights and got a good rate. The hotel is close to the airport, Grand old Opry, Opry mills etc, all being only a small drive away. This hotel is ideal for someone who has a car to get to and from town.

The room was plenty big and was fitted with all amenities including coffee machine and microwave! The room was cleaned and towel put in every day but if u want your linen changed be sure to make that known and place a card on your pillow and there is no issue.

Monday to Friday, they do a complimentary cocktail 2 hours and this includes nibbles which was a good touch.
Breakfast was self service and was everything you would need.
All in all, it was a very enjoyable experience. My only advice is, don't take the hotel shuttle into town, it's $10 each so if there are more than 2, a cab is cheaper!!!

This past weekend a group of 4 girlfriends stayed here for a get a way from the snow and great white north...Although we had a few hiccups during our stay I cannot recommend a better place in Nashville for the price...The staff is fabulous and very accommodating...actually we've made some friends for life I hope..The breakfast buffet is fabulous...the bartender during Happy Hour was just as great...the front desk and maintenance were the friendliest I've ever seen and the manager was super pleasant as well...No one treated you like a guest unless it was another guest that didn't have a personality..The beds were comfortable and soft...the pillows were clean.....Everyone in our party has worked in service at one point in time in our life in the Mackinac Island area and I work at a Health Department...I'm rating accordingly...We had a great enough time that we've decided to come back here every spring and fall for a girls get a way and we live 12 hours away lol......the perfect place to create memories and new friendships..thanks everyone...The Michiganders from room #160:)

Room Tip: We upgraded to a patio room and glad we did...we had smokers in our party and it was really convenie...

We arrived at the hotel on a Wednesday evening and were pleased with the rooms. The rooms included two queen sized beds, a desk, a chair with foot rest, a mini refrigerator, microwave, full sized ironing board and iron, plenty of closet space with a shelf above, a spacious bathroom, and a detached sink from the toilet and tub/shower. The room was quite spacious since the closet area was in an alcove in front of the sink and the distance between the beds and the wall in front of them seemed bigger than other hotels. Of the two other hotels we stayed at while on our family road trip, this had the most room--which is of great importance with four people in the room. The breakfast was excellent! It's a hot breakfast buffet and there is a waffle maker which the kids took advantage of. This breakfast had something for everyone. Also, Mondays though I believe Thursday, there is a manager's reception. Here there is a salad bar and snack items as well as cocktails and sodas for the children. The kids were a little sad that the pool was outdoors and it wasn't quite warm enough yet, but we were busy doing other things around the city. The location is great--right off the parkway and just south of the Grand Ole Opry. It isn't terribly far from downtown, but with traffic it can be a little hectic. I suggest listening for traffic updates or checking online to see if there are accidents in the area or construction. This will save time-we ended up getting stuck for thirty minutes due to an accident, had we known sooner we could have taken a different route--just a heads up! The hotel was wonderful and we enjoyed our time!
