We enjoyed a late supper at Flyte recently and it was a nice experience. The staff is extremely friendly, informative and enjoyable. We started out with the Buttermilk Marinated Fennel salad and the Pimento Cheese, both very good, but the Pimento Cheese was phenomenally the better choice. For entrees we had the Lamb Flyte which was out of this world good and the rice and pea accompaniment went right along well with the meat. We tried the Tagliatelle but sent it back as it was nothing different than we make at home, and replaced that with the King Salmon which was very nice, albeit the soup underneath the fish was extremely salty. We enjoyed our meal and the experience at Flyte, the wine list provides a wide assortment and the staff very helpful with recommendations and communications about the wines. We enjoy the farm to fork attitude that restaurants are taking and Flyte is right up there in the mix. Well done, but I would suggest backing off the salt shaker a bit. Cheers!
