We've stayed at several Hampton Inns lately and, to be honest, they all seem to be high on quality and service. The Hampton-Nashville-Downtown was no exception. From check-in to check-out, everything (almost) went as expected.
Although I had booked this stay through Orbitz, I still got exceptional service (something that is not always the case with "3rd-party" bookings). I asked for a couple of room modifications and the desk clerk was happy to oblige. Parking is either valet ($23/day), or "self-parking" ($19/day) in the hotel garage. The room was nice, and up to the Hampton standards. We had no complaints. The buffet breakfast was, again, as expected from what we had experienced at other Hampton locations. Plenty of choices...enough to satisfy most any preference.
Oh, yes, the only "uh-oh" was the parking garage elevator stopped working just as we were leaving but, not to fear, we just used the stairs and brought the car up to the lobby entrance.
All-in-all, this was a good, no-issue stay and would not hesitate to use this location again.More
