“Great!”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

This is going to be my favorite Hampton Inn. It was noisy due to construction but we had been warned. It was clean & the breakfast was great. It is a larger serving area than the others I have been to and even with a crowd was not congested. They offer grits and biscuits & gravy daily along with the other fare. It was always well stocked. There were three breakfast hosts who were always hustling. It is only 3 blocks from Broadway and right across the street from the new convention center. It was $40-50 a night more expensive than the other Hampton Inns I used but the convenience is worth it!

Thank you for the wonderful comments on our hotel! Our breakfast hosts work incredibly hard trying to keep the breakfast stocked especially on busy mornings! They will definitely appreciate your comments. We look forward to having you stay with us again!

We have stayed at this hotel at least 4 times before and enjoyed the location and the hotel. This time we noticed the price has gone way up and the room experience not so much. We had a king bed and the linens were very thin and barely reached the sides. What happened to the nice linens that Hampton Inns used to have? The pillows were 4 very small odd almost square shaped that were very uncomfortable. We had the worst night sleep ever! The balcony looks good in the description for the almost $300 a night charge but it faces the construction and there is nothing to see. The construction is very noisy and started at 6:00am. This hotel is convenient to walk to the Bridgestone Arena but we will try another hotel in the area next time.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the non construction side, it may be less noisy.

This hotel is located in the heart of downtown Nashville. The rates are too high for what you get. The rooms need updating. The furniture was in terrible shape. The vallet & front desk was friendly & the breakfast was good. It does have a nice pool. It got very loud at night as guest returned from the bars. The fire alarm was set off one night of our stay.

Could not be better located for downtown events, this upper end property delivers the experience of a mid market chain flawlessly. Rooms are spacious and modern. We booked a king suite with sofa bed and found ourselves in an long stay apartment with a balcony microwave and fridge. Staff was helpful and friendly. There's convenient self parking but you may end up leaving your car and walking to the downtown sites. Close to the choo choo tracks so if mournful train whistles will be a problem you might look elsewhere.

We used Valet for the car, Good Breakfast, Good Location for down town, good stay, Will stay here again. We did the Tour Bus Route, Not a Driving Tour kind of place ... many things are in waling distance. The weather was Cold, it snowed, but with the Tour Bus heated save the trip.

Hotel staff was excellent and attentive and went the extra effort by shuffling things around to extend our stay one night. Also, my wife loved the pillows and inquired about getting one for home - the staff brought her one as a souvenir. Impressive!. The property is lovely; more upscale in appearance and quality than most Hampton Inns. Pool area is extra nice, with a larger pool than most Hamptons. The location couldn't be better -- three blocks from Broadway and all the food, music and fun you can handle. Having the signature Hampton Inn breakfast is a benefit with a family of six -- a restaurant breakfast can easily add $50 a day to a trip. On the downside, the breakfast area was very crowded when we ate, so it takes some jockeying to get a spot for the family. Also, i could go a whole lifetime without cutting another Hampton Inn waffle with the aggravating plastic knife and foam plate. Overall, one of the nicest Hamptons, second in my view only to Cincoteague Island.

This hotel is conveniently located in downtown Nashville. The beds are probably the most comfortable we have ever had a hotel. The rooms are clean and sufficiently appointed. There is way to much to do in downtown Nashville to spend much time in a hotel room. The breakfast was a great amenity. It is nice to start out the day with a good hot breakfast (if you make it up in time after a night of honky tonkin! :)
