We chose to have dinner at this place because, it was just down the street from our hotel and, having eaten there once before, we knew it to offer up some pretty good grub. The food was as good this time as we remembered it being that last time.

In addition to a house salad (not a little one!), we each had fish. Joan’s was grilled Tilapia and mine was southern fried catfish. We each had potatoes too (baked for Joan and mashed for me) and steamed vegetables. Good food, good service and reasonable prices ($38.00 with tax and tip).

Definetly not a chain restaurant. Combines great food, enthusiastic staff and a truly remarkable collection of wildlife on display (stuffed), as well as a beautiful pond with running water, stocked with live catfish. Perfect for the whole family, it's like going on acamping trip for dinner! We will make this restaurant a part of every trip to Nashville from now on!

We ate at a lot of places in Nashville while on our trip and thought this place was pretty average food but fun atmosphere for the kids with the catfish pond

We had spent a day sightseeing and had planned to go into Nashville for dinner, however since the hotel was close by and we were tired and hungry we ducked into this place right across from Opryland. Although it looked touristy and could be described by some as a product of BassPro meets Cabelas meets a tasty restaurant - we were more than pleasantly surprised. This play had music, a catfish pond, a fish camp atmosphere and definitely some of the best food we found. Orders included the ribs (fall off the bone but with just enough bite delicious); BBQ pork, a seafood platter with a frog leg the size of a chicken wing and oh so tender, catfish, and a steak. The guy at the next table had a burger that rivaled the biggest we had seen. If you are up near the Opry or Opryland...this place is just the place for a great meal and service.

Stopped in here because it was near the timeshare and it was too early to check in...glad we did. The pulled pork BBQ was so tender and had a great smoky taste even without sauce. Add the sauce, and it was heavenly. Ditto the baked beans. My husband enjoyed his catfish too. Funky, funny place, friendly staff. Stop by!
