We weren't able to take in a concert but will definitely try to the next time we visit! Lovely new venue and location that seem perfect for the city.

“The Dream becomes a Reality”
Reviewed September 8, 2006

The Schermerhorn Symphony Center has become a reality!

The Center is classically designed and absolutely beautiful. For the civic dedication, they had a pianist onstage playing while the crowd filed through. With no amplification, this was audible throughout the hall.

This building should be an asset to Nashville for years to come.

The main facade faces a plaza running from 3rd Ave., South to 4th Ave., South. The center's plaza provides a continual passage from the Gateway bridge, past the Center, to a public plaza also adjacent to the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Gaylord Entertainment Center. There is a beautiful garden, dedicated to Martha Rivers Ingram along the west side of the Schermerhorn Center.

Located downtown, the center does not provide parking but there are mulitple pay-lots available nearby.
