“Walking around the Schermerhorn Center”
Reviewed May 14, 2014

FREE to walk around outside and enjoy the statues, fountains and flowers..now if you go inside to attend an event there is admission but you can enjoy the gorgeous building and grounds for FREE...

Wednesday, May 7, 2014, Tony and I was URBAN HIKING around Nashville and and we walked around the Schremerhorn Symphony Center...This building is Beautiful. I am drawn to it. We had just left the Shelby Street Pedestrian Bridge

We crossed the street and stopped at the Memorial Statue of the Firefighters. This is a nice little memorial in the plaza. There is an area to sit and read the signage and view the statue. Then we stopped at the small fountains beside the stairway up to the front doors. There are some gorgeous flowers to enjoy.

The building itself is very gorgeous. The detail work into the stones work of the building is gorgeous. Then there is the most beautiful large water fountain and statue. IT is my favorite in Nashville. I was able to take some gorgeous photos around the building today. I can't wait until my daughter moves here. I want to attend a program inside the awesome building....and she will go with me anywhere and have fun ...she is my friend and the best traveling partner...

She will love this building. Can't wait to go inside here.

“Beautiful theater”
Reviewed May 14, 2014

We had great seats in this large theater. We saw the Nashville Ballet perform with Ben Folds. Although we decided we didn't care for Ballet, everyone around us just loved it. The theater was comfortable however, rest rooms are located on another level and they tell you to take an elevator. Too much for me!

“Great musical venue!!!”
Reviewed May 13, 2014

We visit the Schermerhorn Symphony Center several times a year. It is amazingly the finest musical hall in the area!....The acoustics are wonderful.....There are tours available daily....tickets are available at affordable prices....and the musicals held there are so varied. We have seen everything from pop to classicals as well as Amy Grant and Vince Gill with their annual Christmas concert!.....Jim Brickman and Christmas concerts. Watching a concert at the Schermerhorn is so different than seeing a concert at any other venue in Nashville. The Nashville Symphony performs at the Schermerhorn many times a year, and they are definitely worth making the effort to see !....Beautiful venue! We are so proud to have the Schermerhorn in our area.
