We have attended the Schermerhorn several times for concerts and have been very impressed, especially by the excellent acoustics. Floor level seating when the Center is arranged with tables is sometimes a little crowded. When arranged with stadium seating, the experience is better.

Dining around the Center is limited and the restaurant Arpeggio located in the Center is a good alternative, offering an upscale buffet style dinner before concerts.

Saw the symphony here with Tianwa Yang as the guest soloist. She is amazing but so is the orchestra and the hall. I've never heard such good acoustics in a concert all before. The hardwood floors are both gorgeous but functional.

The Symphony Hall is amazing. It is so beautiful inside and the acoustics are fantastic. Take in a concert or show while you are in town...dont miss it!

Any city in the world would be so fortunate to have such a beautifully executed concert hall. Of course, you would hope that one of the world's most important music centers would create such a venue. Thankfully, no obvious compromises were allowed in the construction of this classically designed building. The sound inside the concert hall is impeccable and the intelligence of the design that allows the concert space maximum flexibility is very impressive. Attention to detail is evident everywhere. If you love hearing orchestral music in an acoustically correct space that visually honors the artistic experience, then the Schermerhorn Symphony Center is well worth visiting.
