Hundreds of beer choices, not as noisy as some bars (off the strip), food ok, good place to chill with friends

My husband loved the large and good beer selections -- dozens of beers on tap. However, we disliked that the female staff were dressed in cheesy and revealing outfits.

Wait to be served expensive beer from a good selection of stock. Food is served but don't expect too much, it is not plentiful. Grab a table when you can because there is no formal waiting in line when it is busy. Lots to look at on the walls and ceiling, once you get a seat.

OK they were not kidding with the mega-beer choices. Awesome and I'll throw in a compliment to Jessica (bartender) who knew what she was talking about. They had so many beers to choose from my head was spinning. The wait staff seemed to be having fun even though it was a slow night and the place is really clean and the atmosphere is very relaxing. I feel like taking a trip back to Nashville to just visit The Flying Saucer and have Jessica recommend more tasty brews. We did not try the food but they seemed to have some typical bar foods. We were offered the $3 daily special but instead we dove right into the good stuff.

I'm sure everyone writes the same review on the Flying Saucer, but it's true! Great selection of beer, and they have daily specials. When we were there, all the local beer was $3 per bottle. I had the 5 glass tasting of european beers, and it was good - 5 small glasses for $9.
