I read about this restaurant before visiting Nashville this past weekend and decided to try it last night. We were a little taken aback that there was a rather stern-looking parking lot attendant (his shirt said "Security: Polite but Firm"). We spoke to him and found him to be a very nice man who was doing a wonderful job of monitoring the small parking lot. The restaurant itself is small and intimate, and the service was excellent. Our waiter was attentive, and he made sure that our glasses were never empty! I chose the sorghum infused chicken....it fell off the bone and was delicious, served with broccoli and a very tasty mac and cheese dish. Loved every bit of it. My husband ordered the salmon and was very pleased with his choice, saying that it was moist and quite flavorful. We enjoyed The Yellow Porch and agreed that it was our best dining choice the entire time we were in Nashville.
