I have been dining here for years. In spite of the neighbors attempts to harm the business by erecting fences to block both car and foot traffic, this place is still awesome. They have updated the lunch menu so if you haven't been lately go back.

From the descriptive menu to the art on the walls, you know that The Yellow Porch is a creative place. Our table enjoyed the brined pork chop, paella, flank steak and pork medallions. Every dish brought new flavors to the party. The bread pudding for dessert was wonderfully rich.

When we come to Nashville, we make a point to enjoy a great meal at The Yellow Porch. You should, too.

We were very disappointed. Risotto was runny. Vodka penne was way over sauced. Looked like slop. Fish special (which came with the runny risotto) was just ok and portion was small. For 27 bucks, way overpriced. Never asked for refills on coffee. And don't sit next to drapes on a cold night. Drapes are intended to block cold air from front door but didn't really do the trick. We were with friends so we had a good time nonetheless but honestly would not go back. Way too many other good restaurants in Nashville.

This restaurant is very close to the 100 Oaks location of a Vanderbilt Medical Facility. After an appointment at 100 Oaks we stopped in there for lunch. What a surprise!! It is small but the service was great but not pushy and the staff was very friendly. The menu was diverse enough that no one should have trouble finding several meals they would like to order. They are also amenable to making changes to the meal as it is listed.Tucked back in and among trees and other buildings, this restaurant was a very pleasant surprise!!! Try it ... You'll love it!!

This is a fabulous place! The meal, atmosphere and service were great! I got the stuffed scallops, and the people I was with got the pork chops and blackened shrimp/grits. Fabulous! We got the bread pudding, choc torte, creme brule and carrot cake for dessers. Very good.
