We spent the last weekend in Nashville at the Omni Hotel, right across from the Music City Center, where they were featuring the annual Antiques and Garden Show. What a perfect place to stay, it's a beautiful hotel. The lobby is huge for welcoming large groups yet they have an inviting "library" off to one side that had a pretty modern fireplace with plenty of seating. We noticed the fireplace on our way to the Kitchen Notes for breakfast. This is a crisp, clean, open restaurant - perfect for breakfast and lunch. They have a couple of whimsical walls filled with colorful plates which catch the eye, since everything else is white. I enjoyed their yogurt with homemade granola. The standard room with two queen beds is very comfortable, attractive in tans, crisp patterned linen over-draperies with blackout drapes, too. We did not spend much time in the room, but in the morning, if you turn on the TV, there are instructions on check out, which is very helpful. The hotel is busy, use the automated check-out. We look forward to staying here again.
