My wife and I have stopped here now three times. Granted all three times were weekend visits, but the wait....
The last time was in May of 2012. We planned to arrive for lunch ahead of the crowd - that didn’t happen. We got there at 11:10 and were told our wait would be “at least” an hour and a half. It was - plus ten minutes; we were seated at 12:50.
However once inside things happened much quicker. My wife ordered a typical American lunch - a cheeseburger, fries, slaw and lemonade. I got breakfast - country ham, scrambled eggs, grits and sweet tea. Of course we both enjoyed their hot biscuits and homemade jellies. $36.00.
I still recommend the place but have come to realize that once you have been there a time or two, it just isn't worth the wait.
