This restaurant was delicious!! The biscuits were amazing, and the preserves they come with make it even tastier. We had a wide array of food, because I chose to eat 4 sides instead of a meat and three sides, and all of it was wonderful. The services was friendly and courteous, and we really enjoyed the meal! It is a ways away from the downtown Nashville area, about 20 mins, but it is well worth the drive!

Home cooked meals. These are meals that the man would have before or after chores. Very casual decor and dining. Great desert pies !

Very personal and friendly staff.

We ate here on two successive days this week and both times came away very happy. The first meal HAD to be the fried chicken for which they are known along with the trademark biscuits! The biscuits are reason enough to come here but the fried chicken is the best in our experience. The creamed corn is substantial and the carrot (soufle?) was a new treat for me. It was sweet enough to be eaten as a dessert but counted as a side. Our waitress, was a young down-home honey who really saw to our memorable meal.

The second day, we tried some different items. The chicken fried chicken was real chicken, not chopped and formed but don't count of thick pieces. It was flavorfull but the meal of choice was the dinner of fried pork chops. Two large pork chops towered above the plate drawing the attention of everyone at our table and maybe anyone who happened to be walking by the window!

No trip to the Nashville would be complete without repeat visits to the Loveless Cafe!

Y'all come back now, ya' hear?

Loveless Cafe is so cute! We have been there twice and both times there was a long wait. Last time we grabbed a few items and ate outside. This time we waited and dined inside. Our waitress was very good. The biscuits and jam were outstanding! The grits were, "to die for". The fried ocra was down right delicious! After that the experience went downhill. The pulled pork was dry and stringy. The Steeplechase pie and coconut cream pie were average.

The gift shop was alright. The t-shirt worn by Rayna James in the tv show Nashville is for sale at an exorbinate price! Other gift items are pricey.

It's good ordinary breakfast food, nothing special. It a little drive from Nashville proper not worth it in my opinion but if you are near by during breakfast it's a good option
