This place is amazing! We got seated right away, no waiting. The food was delicious! We absolutely loved everything we ordered. The service was fast and the waitress was very friendly. This is definitely a restaurant you need to go to when in Nashville.

When we arrived and were told we had a 90 minute wait for lunch (at 11 AM) we almost left. Thank goodness we stuck it out. The wait was about 80 minutes but well worth it. Those little biscuits are amazing along with their homemade selection of jams. Fried chicken, ribs, BBQ-- all amazing. The sides (like hashbrown casserole and mac/cheese) were awesome as well. Advice: call ahead to get your name on the list and then plan to wait a bit. You'll be glad you did.

We signed up for a two hour wait. About an hour and a half into it, my wife was told that we woud have at least another hour wait. My wife is diabetic and she needed to eat. So we turned in our pager and moved on down the road. The restaurant has a great following and people are willing to wait. It is hard to fight success, but be prepared to wait. We just could not. This was our second trip here, but I doubt we will be back.

This place has the best biscuits in town. It is a little touristy and somewhat overrated. They may be getting a little too big for their britches (as we'd say in the country). There are no reservations or call ahead options, and the wait times can be LONG. Try to go at an off time or browse the gift shop while you wait. The food is quite good country fair, but the biscuits reign supreme. Try all the different jams and toppings they offer.

We've been fans of Loveless Cafe for years. We were fortunate enough to eat there several times before its transformation into the "new one." The breakfasts seemed to have remained the same but now with dishes & "silverware" that match. This is a great place to have breakfast or lunch at the end of a ride up the Trace. Please give Loveless a try - it is a quaint adventure and should be on your "bucket list."
