This place has the best biscuits in town. It is a little touristy and somewhat overrated. They may be getting a little too big for their britches (as we'd say in the country). There are no reservations or call ahead options, and the wait times can be LONG. Try to go at an off time or browse the gift shop while you wait. The food is quite good country fair, but the biscuits reign supreme. Try all the different jams and toppings they offer.

“Great breakfast!”
Reviewed January 3, 2013 via mobile

We've been fans of Loveless Cafe for years. We were fortunate enough to eat there several times before its transformation into the "new one." The breakfasts seemed to have remained the same but now with dishes & "silverware" that match. This is a great place to have breakfast or lunch at the end of a ride up the Trace. Please give Loveless a try - it is a quaint adventure and should be on your "bucket list."

“One of the best meals...EVER!”
Reviewed January 2, 2013

This meal was amazing! From the biscuits and homemade preserves to the fried chicken - it was a knockout! This was actually our first stop in Nashville and what a GREAT place to start - this is a MUST - don't delay - I know you will love it! Just as a warning, there might be a bit of a line but it is definitely worth it and you can walk around the property so the time flies.

“Atmosphere and Average Food”
Reviewed January 2, 2013

The food is very plain. Reminds me of a school cafeterias food. The setting and location are prime just not the food. But then I don't really go for good ole boy food so maybe it is just me.

“Can't Beat it for a Nashville Experience”
Reviewed January 2, 2013

This is just a lot of fun. Be prepared to wait on weekends, but that's ok, you can stroll around to the shops. Best jams and jellies, great veggies and of course, breakfast all day!
