Finally stopped in here for breakfast - and was surprised as I felt as if I had stepped back in time to the 1970s. This is an old, tiny diner that has not been updated. It was almost as if we had stepped into someone's kitchen - TV blaring and no one around. However, the breakfasts we had were old-fashioned and wonderful. Yes, you will get white bread, but perfectly toasted. Eggs and bacon also perfectly done. Be warned as the coffee has also not been updated (as with most of these old diners) - still the swill from the 1970s. Go next door to Bongo Java's and pick up a real cup of coffee to bring in with you. They won't mind. Once in while, it is fun to go to such a place and get an old-fashioned breakfast. Just don't expect gourmet offerings. We enjoyed it. And for lunch, it is probably a limited 'meat-and-three' type of place - country cooking.
