While visiting Vanderbilt, we took our son to Kobe Steaks, right near campus. If you've been to a tepanyaki restaurant, then you know how much fun it is to watch the chef cook your food right in front of you. Our Kobe chef was excellent, and even created a flaming volcano out of onion rings. The food was scrumptious, and the amount of food served was amazing. We rarely take home doggie bags while traveling, but the shrimp and Kobe filet were so amazing, we just had to bring some back to the hotel for a late night snack. We will defintely eat here again on future visits to Vandy.
