“Great southern experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 30, 2013

Feels like home, homemade food, great service and definitely a different experience of having breakfast, lunch or dinner. We had our wedding lunch there, sharing the table with our guests and random people. They wait until you party is there to seat you so you can all be at the same table. They have a fix price and you can eat as much as you want, the sweet tea is awesome! I´ve been there for lunch and there and had a great time with family and friends. Definitely a southern experience that you can´t miss in Nashville. Affordable price too :)

“Must-do experience in Nashville”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 30, 2013

Came here for brunch on a cold Saturday morning and our meal was everything we could have hoped for. The seating and meal is family-style; therefore, you're eating with strangers and you have to wait until they can seat a full table.

Thankfully, since it's a rather popular place, we weren't waiting long. We got the country breakfast, which, for I believe was 15 dollars, was the absolute steal of the trip. All you can eat fried chicken, bacon, ham, sausage, pancakes, fried apples, cornbread, corn pudding, grits, sweet tea, coffee, and a few things I'm sure I've forgotten. All of the food is of very good quality, and it just keeps on coming until everyone is done. Restaurant itself is very comfy, and the service was friendly and kept the food assault coming - they had to be some of the harder working servers I've ever seen.

A great experience, a fantastic meal, all at a incredible price. Definitely come here when you're in Nashville.

“Good food, great service.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 27, 2013

We'd heard how long the wait can be, so our group of 7 arrived before they opened at 5 pm. While waiting, we met a couple and added them to our group of 7. As soon as the door opened, we were seated and the food began to arrive. It's served family style. My favorites were the catfish, biscuits, corn casserole, squash casserole, fried okra and banana pudding. My husband loved the fried chicken. The food was good, but I've been to a couple in Georgia that are better. Service is excellent. As soon as your table is done eating, the dirty plates start to disappear and you're encouraged to leave so that more can be served.

“Fried Chicken For Breakfast”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 25, 2013

Need I say more? One of the best dining experiences I have ever had. The food was outstanding - go hungry. No, not like chinese buffet hungry. But REALLY hungry. And enjoy your fellow diners. The family style dining asks for getting to know people. What fun to eat gravy and biscuits and chat with folks from around the country. Go. You won't regret it.
