Description: Germantown Café has become a reliable fixture on Nashville’s dining scene by offering fresh, creative cuisine at reasonable prices, as well as a fully-stocked bar and an amazing view of the Nashville skyline. Conveniently located just blocks north of downtown and LP Field, the Café is a perfect choice for a pre-theatre dinner, a casual night out on the town, or a brunch before the big game. And one look at the sleek and sexy interior lets you know it’s the perfect spot for extra-special occasions as well, with plenty of private dining space for just about any event. Germantown Café’s kitchen specializes in straightforward traditional cooking with a subtle twist—but don’t worry, there’s no fusion confusion on display here. Whether you choose the signature Plum Pork, a char-crusted New York strip with garlic mashers, or our plump, juicy crabcakes, you’ll lick your chops with every bite. Come see us for lunch, brunch, and dinner.

Selected from your reviews and were very pleased ! Contemporary decor with excellent waitstaff. Started with nice Cakebread Zin then opened with corn and pepper soup - very good. Next the house salad with vinegarette and enough blue cheese for the whole table. Both ordered the meat special which was rolled pork loin with great spices, a wine reduction , mashed potatoes, cabbage and baby carrots - all terrific and more than ample! Split an apple caramel walnut pie with cinnamon ice cream and a load of butter - all very warm and coffee helped deal with richness. All the help and co- owner very attentive. Will definitely return next visit

Best breakfast in Nashville; from the hot ape fritters with every meal to the cheesey grits, worth a visit.

Six of us came from out of town and ate here because of a recommendation by a friend. We enjoyed the neighborhood, and the restaurant had a nice buzz without being too noisy. We really wanted to give this restaurant five stars as we had a nice time and attentive service and prices were moderate, but we just cannot. The steak was the best meal. The pork with plum sauce was a hit. The short ribs were tender. The coconut curry salmon was served over very sticky risotto. Too bad. Four of us ordered the French onion soup. None of us felt it deserved the praise it has received. Lots of gooey cheese, but not much onion flavor. The fried green tomatoes were hard little disks. The servings were large, so we didn't have room for dessert. Specialty cocktails at $10 were just ok. We reserved using open table and that worked well. We reserved two weeks in advance and had to get a 6 pm reservation. It was empty when we arrived but picked up around 7.

For whatever reason, my company insists on going here whenever they hire someone new to our department. For the life of me, I cannot understand why. 3-4 lunches here and I am still not very impressed. I can appreciate that they are trying to be an upscale place in a part of the city that borders an up and coming part of town. The menu options are limited.

My wife and I had dinner at café for our 35th. wedding anniversary. I requested a nice table for the occasion and the staff was able to oblige us with a table by the window looking out across the Nashville skyline at night. The staff was very nice and food was excellent.
