11-9; NO CREDIT CARDS, NO alcohol for sale, but server said you could bring some. (they are close to a school)
It is just a small place – holds 25 perhaps and family run. Yes, there are a slew of Vietnamese places on Charlotte, but this one offers $3 Vietnamese sandwiches in addition to traditional Pho. They only have 2 sandwich selections, but they are served on soft French rolls with cilantro and Serrano peppers. (#23 and #24). Their shrimp and pork spring rolls (#2) are the best I’ve had in this town and are two for $2.50. The best dish I like is #19 Mi Xao Don Thap Cam for $8.00: Crispy egg noodles topped with sautéed shrimp, beef, squid, crab and veggies. You get a sauce to pour over and then you mix it all up.
Family run. They take your order at the table, but you need to go up to the cash register to pay (CASH ONLY remember).
