“Enterprise and a lot of hard work = excellent pizza”
Reviewed June 16, 2013

The Farmer's Market, together with the Bicentenial Park, is a little oasis in the rather bland cityscape of Nashville; Bella Nashville is part of that pleasure. I was in the Farmer's Market last year and didn't recall seeing Bella. As the other reviewers have said, the pizzas are excellent and quirky; I had wholewheat crust, hummus, zatar, toasted nuts, mint, sumac & chilli oil which was less like eating pizza than having a punch of middle eastern cuisine. Pizzas are 9 inch and range from $8-10 and a little more for the daily special. Their lemon soda, sublime!

A team of 4 young individuals really make this place work - when I first arrived they were stacking up the orders but still delivering with a smile on their faces and keeping the quality high. I went back after they were supposed to be closed but they still served me a lemon soda as they were preparing the food for the next day.

Don't expect a restaurant - this is a market place food stall but it puts many restaurants to shame. Well done guys on your enterprise and really hard work - really great to see and I hope you are there next time I visit again from the UK.

“very good wood fired pizza in the Nashville Farmers' Market”
Reviewed June 5, 2013

I eat at Bella Nashville on a fairly regular basis for lunches as I work downtown. I love watching the owner Bob work his magic with the dough right in front of everyone. It's a small place, so seating at the bar is limited, though there are plenty of seats nearby in the market courtyard. All ingredients are sourced locally and every item I've ever ordered is wonderful. They make their own teas as well that are very tasty. We love that Bella Nashville is doing well - they deserve it as the food is just great.

“Excellent Wood Fired, Out Of The Ordinary Pizza”
Reviewed June 4, 2013

If you're around the Farmer's Market in the State Capital area of Nashville, a visit to this unusual place will be worth the trip. Unusual pizza combinations (the one I had had sweet potatoes) and an excellent wood charred crust separate this place from the rest of the pack. Located in the eatery area of the Farmer's Market, there is seating both at the bar and in a separate area. The biggest minus is the parking which can be tight especially on Saturdays.

“Farmers Market MUST!!!”
Reviewed January 30, 2013 via mobile

A MUST for a personal pizza while enjoying the variety of food at the farmers market. Something for everyone. But nothing beats a fired oven pizza.

“A Farmer's Market Gem”
Reviewed October 28, 2012

When I go to a farmer's market, I expect good produce but not good a good dining experience. What a gem Bella Nashville is. They only serve lunch and have 5 pizzas on the menu, but what pizza. The toppings are all local produce, meats and cheeses. The special of the day you will never find anywhere else. If you are looking for Papa John's don't go here. The pizza here is all hand made dough and everything is fresh. They even make their own sodas using fresh orange or lemon juice and their own carbonated water. They also have some amazing teas. If you want an exceptional pizza and a great lunch, stop by Bella Nashville in the Farmer's Market. You won't be sorry.
