Description: Featuring an array of global flavors and decadent desserts by Chef Deb Paquette and Pastry Chef Megan Williams, Etch is located in the ground floor of the Encore tower in Nashville's SoBro district. The restaurant is equipped with two private dining rooms, a full bar and an open kitchen with bar-style seating, allowing guests to interact with Deb and her kitchen. Lunch and dinner are available Monday-Friday, as well as dinner on Saturday. In her 13 years as Chef/Owner of Zola, Deb received accolades for Nashville's best chef and Nashville's best restaurant multiple times. Nashville restaurants are many, but Etch sets itself apart with bold flavors and colorful presentations.

Went here for the first time for our anniversary. Food was amazing and our waiter was knowledgeable about the food. Ambience was great as well. Definitely gonna go back there.

This was our second time at Etch, and it did not disappoint. The cocktails and seasonal menu items were delicious. The service was excellent. If you plan to attend a show nearby, the server will coordinate the timing of your meal to insure that you will depart on time. I highly recommend Etch.

3 of us during Thanksgiving week for late lunch -
about half full so it wasn't empty or overly busy

minimalist decor - could use a bit more for my taste but not bad

menu has very unusual ( at least for me) items - lots of vegetables
and dishes with unusual combinations - beautifully served - plain white dishes
we all had different meals - one a salad with grilled shrimp
one a soup
mine was mushrooms with cheese - almost like a philly steak sandwich
all were delicious and enjoyed after turkey day!!

not cheap but not too bad - downtown - no view but nice to have valet parking!

2nd visit in four days. This place is tops for quality and service. Sit at the chef's bar for a direct view of the workings of tge kitchen. The shrimp and tuna appetizer and the Brussels sprouts are the best! GO!

Since we are local, I'm a little hesitant to advertise how really good this place is. It is conveniently located for out of towners and reservations are becoming hard to get. The food is world class, beautifully presented, and delicious. This was our second special occasion visit. I had the venison and my companion had a filet that he said was the best he has ever eaten. There are other upscale restaurants in Nashville that have outstanding food but some of them appear to take themselves too seriously with wait staff that seem pretentious and sometimes condescending. That is not the case with Etch. We find the staff there to be courteous, professional, and friendly without overdoing it. The restaurant was crowded with several large parties from a convention nearby. We ordered a glass of wine while we waited for our order, enjoyed the ambiance and didn't notice the time. When our order was delivered our waiter apologized for the delay and explained that a party of 25 had arrived shortly before us and the kitchen was backed up a bit. We said it wasn't a problem we were savoring our wine. I wasn't watching the clock but it couldn't have been more than 20-25 minutes, not an uncommon wait in a nice restaurant. In a couple of minutes, the maître d’ came over and also expressed his regrets for the timing as well. We repeated that we didn't consider it a problem. Then when we ordered dessert, the waiter said it was on them because of the delay. So our lovely meals were topped off with phenomenal desserts at no cost to us. We've had other restaurants offer a complimentary dessert in response to a customer complaint but never when they apparently failed to meet their own timeliness standard. What a great experience!
