“Nice atmosphere but strange food experience”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 30, 2013 via mobile

We were in Nashville for the Music City Bowl and wanted to explore the city beforehand. We were welcomed into Robert's by a really nice gentleman out front who said it was fine to bring our kids in (9 and 12), The music inside was great and they have a lot of nostalgic pictures on the walls which was really cool. After sitting at a table for 15 minutes and not getting our order taken or even being acknowledged by the not busy waitress, my husband and I went up to the bar thinking maybe we have to order the food there. While at the bar the waitress seemed to blatantly ignore us for more than 5 minutes so at that point we just decided to walk down the street and try a different lunch venue. When leaving Robert's the band and greeter both said nice goodbyes - probably thinking we had already eaten. It was a very strange experience but I don't want to completely diss the place over one dysfunctional waitress - maybe she has something against GA Tech fans or kids.

“Great Music and Food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 28, 2013

This was a great lunch place. We heard a great singer and were able to enjoy a delicious bologna sandwich all for a great great price.

My only concern was that could be better staffed during the lunch hour (2 waitresses + 1 cook). There were many people having to wait to order at the bar and wanting to pay. Be prepared to wait a little bit if there is space.

Other than that, I recommend it!

“Sweet Potato Fries are a must”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 26, 2013

Great food for a bar! Plus the service was terrific and so was the entertainment! We listened to a performer named David Cox, who I believe frequents that stage...very very talented guy. I loved how he put a little Jason Mraz spin on the country he was singing. :)

“GREAT LIVE MUSIC!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 22, 2013

GREAT LIVE MUSIC VENUE -- especially in a town known for it's music!! Cold beer and hot bologna sandwiches come across the bar from attentive staff, but the music is the draw for sure!

“Great music, authentic atmosphere, and deent food.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 12, 2013

The food at Robert's Western World is decent, but limited. The real hero is the music and the atmosphere. They also have a full bar and extensive beer list. It is also right around the block from the Ryman Auditorium and just across the street from the Predators arena.
Robert's is open to all ages until 10 PM, then it is 21 and up. But there is no cove charge.
