“Interesting look behind the scenes at the making of spirits.”

Interesting tour that walks you through the process of making spirits. The tour ends with a tasting of several of their products. The tour and tasting is interesting and worth your time.

As a side note-
There is an interesting antique store located in the same building-Antique Archeology. Well worth the stop too.

“Very educational and enjoyed the tastings at end of tour”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 16, 2013

Did you know that gin is really just vodka with added spices and herbal extracts? We didn't either but learned that and so much more on a tour of the local Corsair Artisan Distillery. We loved the Triple Smoked Whiskey and the Artisan Gin we tasted at the end of the tour.

“Excellent”

Very informative tour with friendly staff. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the tasting afterwards (I'm pregnant and just got to observe the fun). Great way to spend an afternoon. Be sure to call and make your tour reservations-they fill up quickly

“Passionate guys in a small distillery making new products”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 9, 2013

What better way to celebrate your son's 21st birthday than to tour a distillery?! The building where the distillery is located worth a trip to the area. The tour was interesting and narrated by one of the original guys involved in the business. It was a short tour, but informative. We enjoyed our tasting and the birthday boy walked away with a new set of bar glasses.

“Better places to o in Nashville”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 27, 2012 via mobile

For as friendly as the Yazoo staff is, these guys are not. For as moderately priced as Yazoo is, this pace is not. As a matter of fact you'll pay more for a bottle here than at a liquor store.

The tour is $8 and all you do is stand in a room for about 30 minutes and listen to propaganda about why corsair is better. And it's really not all that. Yes there's a tasting afterwards, but don't think you can just show up for tasting. No tour-no tarting so it ain't free.

DO NOT BUY BOTLLES THERE! You will pay more than at a local liquor store.

As far as the tap room is concerned, we not even offered a taste of craft beers we weren't familiar with. Even though other guests were offered the courtesy.

In short, pass on this place. Go to Dickel or Jack Daniels for a better tour. Yazoo brewery is also a better tour and better tap room experience.
