Owner description: Established July 2012. Hank, Johnny, Chet, George, Tammy, Conway, Loretta, Dolly, Willie . . . There was a time when country music was on a first name basis with its fans. “Bill is a smooth cat in a town that has seen its share of cats.”
Reviewed January 30, 2013

My wife and I like to do walking tours whenever we visit a new city. Bill and his tour was one of the best we have been on in a long time.
We could have spent the day listening to his passionate stories about a town that has many.
We constantly referred to his information during the rest of our stay.
Highly recommend....Thanks Bill.

“Helps show the soul of Nashville”
Reviewed January 25, 2013

Bill is a great story teller who was able to capture the spirit of Nashville on his walking tour. It started with the person who brought about the Nashville sound and ended with the smell of paper and ink at the show print store. He was not afraid to tell the darker stories along with the good one's. Very full of knowledge and quite entertaining for a one-man operation. Highly recommended to get a deeper understanding of what Nashville is about.

“Great storyteller!”
Reviewed January 21, 2013

The Walkin' Nashville tour is a great tour to get the inside scoop on the city. My husband and I took the tour this past week and had a great time. Bill is a great storyteller and has definitely done his research. He really brings out the real emotion behind the stories of the history of the city. He has a wealth of knowledge that he has gained through his own personal experiences and he is excited to share it with everyone on the tour. I highly recommend taking the tour, it is super reasonably priced and well worth the 1.5 hours of your time!!

“Walkin Nashville Tour with Bill DeMain - is a MUST!”
Reviewed January 6, 2013

Bill is VERY knowledgeable about Nashville, the music, the artists, and their roots!

I would recommend this tour to anyone who loves music, no matter what kind!

He truly has a lot of stories to tell that you just won't get on your average tour given by someone being paid a minimum wage salary (example - the backstage tour at the Ryman Auditorium which we did the next day)
Even though we enjoyed it, after Bill's "personal" tour, it wasn't quite the same!
THANK YOU BILL!!
