“EXCELLENT one of nashvilles best kept secrets!”
Reviewed June 5, 2012

I cannot believe there is only one review because this place is delicious!!! Its off the beaten path but only a few miles from downtown. I live close by and my neighbors were there a couple months ago and were sitting next to Taylor Swift. I have recommended it to several friends. I don't think they have a website but if you are curious, they have there menu up on Facebook. Their buffalo chicken sandwich and fried okra (separate items) are amazing! If you decide to go, I would encourage you to write a review of your experience because this place deserves more publicity than it has on here!

“Not on your tour of Nashville maps...”
Reviewed December 5, 2011

East Nashville has a rich cultural heritage. East Nashville is where you can still get that old Nashville feel that the places on Broadway just don't provide anymore.

Some neighborhoods are in transition. Some are a ways away from transition. But one thing is for sure, there is a vibe and culture that's definitely different in East Nashville. And that's a good thing.

There are alot of younger urban professionals, and urban professionals who live in East Nashville. You won't find big country star's home's here. This is more like where the people who write the songs sung by those folks live. There's a defenite bohemian feel to East Nashville and the Pied Piper Eatery fits right in with that.

Some may be familiar with their ice cream store (The Pied Piper Creamery) but, this place is a little deeper into East Nashville. It's worth the find.

It's good ol' fashion southern comfort food. If the Loveless is a little bit country, The Pied Piper Eatery is all rock-and-roll. Just take a look at the Hatch posters and artwork on the wall if you don't believe me.

There's nothin' fancy about the decor and, as a result, those savings are passed right on to the customer. You can get breakfast, sandwiches & burgers. I've been here several times and there isn't a thing on the menu I wouldn't recommend.

It is very popular with the locals so there are times you might have to wait for a place. The staff is friendly and attentive. It's very kid friendly! heck, there's even a toy store right next door!

OK, so, this is my "Nashville's best kep secret" place. Selfishly, I'd like to keep it that way. But on the other hand, it's a gem of place worth a stop. If you're a local looking to get away from the Loveless thing (Heck, I like the Loveless Cafe!) then do your guests a favor and bring them here. It's a good meal at a good price at a great funky little joint. And there's nothing with that!
