“Really enjoyed this tour!”
Reviewed May 29, 2013

All microbrewery tours are typically the same, you see the different vats, etc. but this tour was fun and informative. Our guide, Seth Green (he said that's his real name) was great! It also helped that you sample along the way, not only beer but some of the grains that they put into the beer. That was diffferent from any tour I've been on before. Nice taproom and outdoor seating area and all the staff seemed to be friendly and willing to answer questions. Would recommend this one and I'll be looking around my area for Dos Perros!

“Nice local pub”
Reviewed May 20, 2013

We loved drinking the local beer Dos Peros & since the factory is are only a few miles from the hotel off we went on another adventure. Yazoo Beer Brewing Co – 910 Division St 615-891-4649 - open Wed-Thr-Fri 4-6pm ($7 tour on Sat only). We got to Yazoo right at 4pm & had the place all to ourselves for a while. Learned all about their beer from the bartender, we order an 8 glass sampler, a Hefeweizen (loved this one) & Pale Ale with a cheese plate. Such a nice local bar & great beer – you have to make time & check them out.

“Lively atmosphere and outdoor seating”
Reviewed May 1, 2013

This place was hopping! Towards the end of afternoon (closing time) the line was long to fill up growlers, etc. Outdoor seating looked awesome, was full on the gorgeous Saturday, so we sat inside. Overall good beers and good place. They were doing tours too so the place stayed full before and after tours started. Would definitely return.

“Nice Little Brewery”
Reviewed March 25, 2013

We're from Asheville, "Beer City" and we wanted to check out at least one brewery on our 3 day trip to Nashville in March.

Yazoo does tours on the weekends (with reservations) and there is a medium, but packed seating area. Its cinder block and cement floor but the serve some decent beer and some local cheeses and breads. We took our 10 yo and he munched on bread and aged cheddar while we had a few pints.

The brewery tour was long, almost an hour but the highlight of the visit was the tour guide, Seth Greene who seemed passionate about beer and knowledgeable...as well as charming. We enjoyed the $7 tour with 3 samples of brew and your own take-home, sample Yazoo glass. It was quite crowded (and noisy) when we got out of the tour around 5:30pm so we bought some glasses and bottled beer and headed out.

“Loved it! Will be back!”
Reviewed March 11, 2013

The tour is worth every penny! You really can't beat $7 for an interesting tour and 3 samples, plus a free sampling glass to take home! Our guide was informative and kind of funny and the beers were excellent! We ordered the hefeweizen to take on the tour and then got samples of the Dos Perros, Pale Ale and Hefeweizen. They offer a really good deal on a growler set that comes with a full growler and four of their beer glasses for $30. I got a sampler of 6 of their beers for around $11. I like to do that to get a little taste of several beers.

If the doughnut food trunk is there, you are definitely in luck. I got the oreo one and had them add bacon. Ok, yes, I might have had a few beers, but it was delicious!
