This place was hopping! Towards the end of afternoon (closing time) the line was long to fill up growlers, etc. Outdoor seating looked awesome, was full on the gorgeous Saturday, so we sat inside. Overall good beers and good place. They were doing tours too so the place stayed full before and after tours started. Would definitely return.

We're from Asheville, "Beer City" and we wanted to check out at least one brewery on our 3 day trip to Nashville in March.

Yazoo does tours on the weekends (with reservations) and there is a medium, but packed seating area. Its cinder block and cement floor but the serve some decent beer and some local cheeses and breads. We took our 10 yo and he munched on bread and aged cheddar while we had a few pints.

The brewery tour was long, almost an hour but the highlight of the visit was the tour guide, Seth Greene who seemed passionate about beer and knowledgeable...as well as charming. We enjoyed the $7 tour with 3 samples of brew and your own take-home, sample Yazoo glass. It was quite crowded (and noisy) when we got out of the tour around 5:30pm so we bought some glasses and bottled beer and headed out.

The tour is worth every penny! You really can't beat $7 for an interesting tour and 3 samples, plus a free sampling glass to take home! Our guide was informative and kind of funny and the beers were excellent! We ordered the hefeweizen to take on the tour and then got samples of the Dos Perros, Pale Ale and Hefeweizen. They offer a really good deal on a growler set that comes with a full growler and four of their beer glasses for $30. I got a sampler of 6 of their beers for around $11. I like to do that to get a little taste of several beers.

If the doughnut food trunk is there, you are definitely in luck. I got the oreo one and had them add bacon. Ok, yes, I might have had a few beers, but it was delicious!

Just went on this tour yesterday, and there was no "pint size glass" to be had, nor were there any "half pint samples." They handed out a minature brandy snifter, probably 3 oz. max, and gave us exactly 3 samples while walking around a bunch of empty metal tanks, talking about the history of the brewery and passing around some hops in a glass. Wooo! Top that off with our beer nazi tour guide who yelled at some idiot for coming through and scamming a second sample off him. Yes she was stupid, but the embarrassment and interruption of our tour for her theft of a whopping 2 oz. of beer was unnecessary. I think you got your last $7 from me and my group.

The tour started off with an into to their company and a free pint glass. That was followed by a better part of a half pint of one brew, and an additional 2 more tastings after that as they explained their process. It's a small place that is able to produce quite a tasty beer. Well worth the time. Very friendly staff.
