Description: We decided to open our first full-size scoop shop in Nashville in June, 2011 in the East Nashville neighborhood for many reasons, but mainly because the place reminded us so much of our scrappy roots. East Nashville, home to cyclists and pedestrians, families and urban farmers, artists and musicians of all stripes, and do-it-yourself bar and restaurant owners, is one of our favorites places in the country. Since we've been in East Nashville, we've been able to cultivate partnerships with folks such as Don Henry, who grows strawberries for us to make the perennial favorite Roasted Strawberry Buttermilk, as well as the good people at Yazoo Brewing Company, who supplies Yazoo Sue porter for the year-round ice cream Yazoo Sue with Rosemary Bar Nuts. There's a fantastic creative community and overall vibe throughout Nashville-especially in East Nashville.

“Yummy, unique, and fun”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 29, 2013 via mobile

Delicious, very unique (without being bizarre) flavors, smiling employees, and a cute shop make for a pleasant special treat. We especially appreciated that the employees expect you to sample the different flavors and patiently described the different flavors. The portions are not the largest you can get for the money, but this is not your average ice cream. With flavors from Queen City Cayenne (chocolate with that warm pepper "burn") to camomile, there is a flavor for everyone. The outdoor seating area with umbrellas is nice when the temperature is comfortable. Some parking is available in a gravel lot near the shopping area and more on the street. We plan to go again.

Interesting flavors, DELICIOUS taste, extremely friendly employees, fun atmosphere. The employees encourage you to try every flavor, which I LOVED and wasn't made to feel guilty about. Must go.

“Really nice staff and awesome ice cream!”

We check trip advisor for places to go and we had an awesome experience at Jeni's. The brambleberry crisp is the best in their fresh waffle cone!

“Phenomenal!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 18, 2013

This was, simply put, the best ice cream I've ever had in my life. It wasn't the amount of choice, although there were several flavours to choose from. It was the quality and the taste of what they had to offer. The Salty Caramel was incredible, but my favourite was the Toasted Coconut. The parking was horrible, but it was worth it to drive around the block and walk a bit.
