“Great tour”
Reviewed August 21, 2013

If you're expecting a tour of a 'traditional' mansion, this won't be it. If you want to see the world's largest log home and feel right at home while being there, then take this tour. Our guide had sung back up for Louise Mandrell and knew many personal things about the family that she shared. She invited a girl from our group to sing with her and was very entertaining. You can grab guitars off the walls and sit down at the piano if you like. Highly recommend visiting if you have time while staying in Nashville.

“Amazing time!”
Reviewed August 21, 2013

Our TUR guide Steve was so awesome! I enjoyed when he sang to us with one of the guitars right off of the wall! I loved how the Mandrells shared their faith and belief in the Lord putting it on display for all to see, and not being afraid to show what they truly believed. viewing the home itself was exquisitely beautiful. I think my favorite part of the whole house was the wood carved bears by the kitchen and the I Exalt Thee statue by the pool! Perfect way to end my stay in Nashville. Thank you so much for letting us see a part of your life and the house you lived in

I really enjoyed reading your review. It is truly an honor to have the 'I Exalt Thee' statue back at Fontanel. The Mandrell's were and are very outspoken about their faith and they praise God for all of their amazing blessing. Thank you for sharing this with us. It means a lot. I am so glad you had fun on your 'tur'. Come back and see us again soon.

“Fontanel Mansion tour”
Reviewed August 20, 2013

Amazing tour of the Mandrell home. The tour guide Steve Whitson was an excellent tour guide and I was amazed how he could remember everyone's names. He sang and played the guitar. He was very knowledgeable about the home and the family history. We would highly recommend the visit to friends.

Had a great time at Fontanel. We're not really into country music, but the mansion and the area itself are well worth a visit.

“Wow”
Reviewed August 19, 2013

What a great experience! This former home to country music legend Barbara Mandrell is stunning. Best part is that you feel like a guest to the home and not a visitor to a museum. You can all the pictures you want, we even had a group of women get in the huge marble tub to take a photo! So much memorabilia on display it's incredible. Even if you don't know who Barbara is, if you are a country music fan this place is not to be missed.

We do want all of our guest to feel like friends by the time they leave the property. And you are right.....even if you aren't a fan of Ms. Mandrell you will enjoy the tour. It is so fun to hear about how people make themselves at home at Fontanel. The guest love getting in the master bathtub to have their picture made. Thanks so much for you review. Come back soon!
